It was a lot of work in my 52 year old house, but the work was completed in phases and turned out very nicely. The worked was planned out by myself and the company and was finished ahead of schedule. Nice Job to everyone involved.

James and Luke came out on the first day and James gave some pointers for future DIY work. He also worked with me to ensure several issues were correct before they started hanging the drywall. Their attention to detail early on saved rework, I'm sure. They both worked a very long day and did a great job of getting the entire bathroom hung in a single day. Luke came back several times to finish the taping, mudding, and priming. After we painted and started adding electrical fixtures, we noticed a few minor touch-ups were needed, so we contact them again. They worked with us to get out quickly between their other jobs (~1 week) and got it corrected quickly. Luke even noticed a few issues that we didn't and fixed them all at one time. When we went over our material estimate, James did a good job of walking us over the difference and ensuring we understood why there was a difference.

We used B&A for a major remodeling project. They proved capable of handling it all: carpet, electrical, painting, drywall, and more. James was very professional and he made the process simple. I would highly B&A Home Remodeling LLC for any project. We recently moved to the area form California. The house we purchased needed some updating and James was recommended. We had to be out of state the entire time he remodeled our master bath. He was in total control, sent us pictures and also took care of some emergencies that came up around the house for us. I was extremely impressed that he understood my vision for the bathroom remodel and did everything i asked without me even being there. Good solid work, very clean and thoughtful. Call James...you won't be disappointed.

Finally I found Mr Benson! He was wonderful to work with. He's primarily a one man shop so it took a little time to get on his schedule (which was fine for me) but it was so worth the wait. He's the handyman/remodeler I've been looking for who does excellent work and doesn't charge you a bunch of overhead for marketing and bells and whistles. He was very attentive to our requests, frequently checking in to make sure we were satisfied. He was also conscientious of our budget, making recommendations to reduce unnecessary spend that also made the space more usable. He plowed through our job, wasting no time and even coming in on Saturdays. He was quick to communicate by text, which was a bonus for me. And he was nice to my kids and my cat. And my husband liked him and my husband doesn't like anyone. We're thrilled with our finished space. It looks awesome and we don't feel like we overpaid a dime for it. Can't wait to have him back! Thank you Mr. Benson!!

It was okay, I think the final product was pretty good and inch less from perfect and the guy was kind of interesting.
He did have us run out and get like some material, like screws and stuff that we really weren't expecting but it wasn't like anything it was just an interesting scenario.
He expected us to help him the whole time, like my husband works from home and he kept asking him to help or like making jokes like oh just make your contractor doing it and my husband was like I thought that was what I'm paying you. He was a nice guy but he was just like very strange.

Had problems with drainage and overflowing gutters...I hadn't been nearly as fastidious about cleaning my gutters as I should have. James did a great job of cleaning out the old gunk and putting in a couple new downspouts. Drainage problems seem very much alleviated thanks to this work. Would recommend James to anyone.

James is a top-notch problem solver! My nine foot sliding glass doors had stopped sliding several years ago, and while I thought there was a structural problem, he quickly did trouble-shooting and determined that there were other issues causing them to be stuck. He fixed the doors and now they are working great! He also helped me avoid any other costly (and unnecessary) repairs. Would highly recommend him!

James was the first person to respond to our request on Angie's List. He was prompt in giving us an estimate. We ended up choosing to work with him even though his price was higher because we trusted him, were impressed with his communication and quality of tile work (based off pictures on website and phone). We have a 500sq ft area that needed tiled, which is not an easy job! Overall, everything turned out great! We had a slight mix up about granite color, but I was able to pick exactly what I wanted afterwards and it was installed on time and was close to original cost quoted. It looks amazing. We appreciated being able to work with James in coordinating what we can do ourselves. He gave us advice and allowed us to do so without being pushy. He cleaned up after the job and never left the house a mess. We are very happy with our new kitchen and glad we worked with B & A Home Remodeling.

James was great! Initially he was very quick to respond when I called him and got us a quote right away since we had just purchased a new home and wanted the work down while we were still living out of state. We were living in Texas at the time that the work was started so most of our communication was through email and me sending James pictures of what we wanted. He was very thorough with our communication and made sure that he knew exactly what we wanted. James was very detail oriented and perfected every job that he did. You can tell that he is a perfectionist and wants the work done right. He even came back and retouched our kitchen cabinets after we had created some scratches in them shortly after they were finished. James was very professional and cleaned up every day after he was finished working. James also went the extra mile by cutting the grass for us when we were out of state as well as regrouting the fireplace gas cover. I would highly recommend James to anyone looking for any sort of work! We are still working with him by having him install custom baby gates for the stairs in our home.

Jim started work the next day and came every day that it wasn't raining. He assured me he would be here everyday till the work was completed and that he didn't start another job until mine was finished.
The labor on this job turned out to be much more than he thought. The pad at the top of the stairs was a huge slab of concrete, the iron railings and structure was all one piece and he replaced over 30 rails on the deck. He finished off the end of the deck where the steps were removed and matched it perfectly. In spite of all this he stuck with his original estimate.
Jim is a very efficient worker, cleaned up the area every day and hauled away all the debris. Very patient answering all my questions. I will definitely be calling him back for others projects.
