I've had 3 remote starters installed. Every time I was satisfied. They're a little pricey, but they guarantee their work for life. Recently, I brought one car in that stopped working. We thought that maybe the remote Fob lost it's signal. After troubleshooting, that wasn't the problem and needed more troubleshooting. I made an appointment because they were getting their driveway/parking lot re-done at that time and I couldn't drive into the shop. . I dropped my car off and ate breakfast across the street while they worked. Less than an hour later, it was done and covered under their warranty. It turned out that the control module went bad and they had to replace it This was about 4 years after they installed it. My daughters car's FOB wasn't working. They replaced the batteries and it started working fine again. There is a new owner there who bought the place from the older gentleman who owned it before. He was very professional and eager to help fix my problem. I wish I could remember his name. I can't remember how much we paid for each install, but I think it was between $350-$400

Service was excellent. Called on a Tuesday morning and they were able to get me in first thing the following morning. For what I wanted done, Audio Electronics charges by the hour and I was told over the phone their rate and that it would take about two hours maybe more if they ran into something unexpected. Either way, the time was significantly less than it would have taken me on my own and, more importantly, they're professionals so I scheduled an appointment. My plan was to leave it in the morning and pick it up after lunch. But, when I arrived the next day to drop the car off, I was told the installation would take about an hour or so and I was welcome to wait, so I did. It took a bit longer than an hour, but no complaints here. The fact that they got it done so quickly speaks to their integrity - they're not milking the clock in a effort to squeeze a bit more revenue out of their customers. And the work that was done - awesome. The receiver looks factory installed. The steering wheel controls work flawlessly and the microphone and USB port are discreet and conveniently-placed (both requiring extra work on their part). There were installation services closer to my home, but online reviews drew me to Audio Electronics and I wasn't disappointed.

Excellent! I had booked time to have installation performed the following day but they got me in same day. They even gave me a little credit for a trade-in on the subwoofer. Robert & Josh are both professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I have gone to this establishment since the 1980's and have never been disappointed in the quality or the service.

The staff was great! Attentive, polite, and treated my car very well. Not a scratch and the new unit looks like it was original with the car.

Worked me in quickly.  Made an attempt to free the CD.  Processed the radio in a timely manner.  Worked me in again to reinstall the radio.  Checked it our thoroughly and returned the stuck CD.

They were extremely helpful, professional, courteous and went the extra mile for me. I highly recommend this company!

great quality work at a fair price

It was pretty smooth. I went there because I wanted my car to look professionally done. I have had a friend wire everything in a prior car and it should short out while I was on the highway etc. Somehow the ground wasn't done right or something to that effect and it killed the engine frequently. It also drained my battery for some reason. That's why I had them do it. I don't have time to worry about that sort of stuff. I just want my car to be my home away from home, and i'll pay the premium for it. I paid 400 bucks for the wiring harness, the adapter for the car wiring that connects to the harness, the kit to make it look  nice, and then the wires needed to run. This was all on top of the install that took about 3 hours. I also didn't want to have to wait for a week to get installed. This guy got it done on my time.

When I dropped it off I was going to take an uber back to work until I picked it up. He insisted driving me back to work. - I got a ride.

When I picked up it was smooth and everything was done right! I will use them again for my next stereo install.

I found them on Angie's List, and I'm glad I looked first.

I was having trouble with my car stereo unit.  I called Audio Electronics and was able to get in that same day.  My repair was VERY simple (a simple reset of the unit) and took less than 5 minutes however I was charged over $80.  The Technician was great and showed me how to fix the issue myself in the future.  I learned a very expensive lesson.

This installation was a surprise 18th birthday present for my son.  Audio Electronics worked around my schedule so that I could keep the surprise, had the installation kit ready to go, and performed a quick, professional-looking installation.  Everything works well including the hands-free calling, the installation looks great, and most importantly my son is absolutely thrilled with it.

My son had done an amateur job of installing an aftermarket radio/CD player in my well-loved Honda Odyssey, so I pulled into the Audio Electronics parking lot one afternoon (it's close to my house) and went in to ask about replacing it. Seldom have I had such quick and professional customer service. I was shown an affordable new model and told if I gave them an hour they could go ahead and install it -- all this at a great price. The system works great. And I love the Blue Tooth feature. Working with these guys was a pleasure. I highly recommend them.

I made appointment and installed a remote start system on a Saturday with no issue, Work was completed as promised. System failed after about 10 remote starts. I called to have it looked at and was told they have a "lifetime warranty on work". I asked for a Sat appt for eval and was told that under no circumstances will they do repair work on Saturdays. I explained that I work several jobs, travel and have no way to get there during weekday business hours. I was then told that "no tech support" is available on Sat so no repairs. I asked if I could simply have it looked at in case it was something easy. I was again informed that would not be possible. The rude front desk person reminded me how great they are and then proceeded to tell me to "get an Uber to bring me" at my cost of course. I then took the car to another shop and found a loose install wire. The unit was fixed...on a sat... in about 20 minutes. I would be wary of this place. They were rude and condescending. I have had extensive car audio done in many of cars here in Indy. I would avoid this company regardless of how long they have been in business. I certainly will not refer any of my friends here,...and we own alot of cars.

On March 30th, I stopped by Audio Electronics to see what they might have for adding a little low end to a new Honda Civic LX Coupe. The factory radio was fairly nice (much better than in our '03 Honda Civic) but it needed a little help in the low end department. After looking for few seconds at the new stuff that I had not shopped for in years, Shaun came up and asked if he could answer any questions. I told him that I wanted a sub mounted in the trunk, but did not want to compromise the entire compartment. I am nearly 60 years old do not need to rattle the screws loose on a new vehicle. He understood what I was looking for and showed me a small enclosure that contained two JL 6-1/2" subs. Perfect! He took it out and hooked it into a vehicle that was already wired for a sub, and we auditioned the small enclosure with a little "Pink Floyd". Perfect again! We listened to the enclosure inside and outside the vehicle, as I do not want stuff rattling when I pull up to a stoplight. We went back inside and he typed up a quote for an amp install and trunk-mounted enclosure. I was scheduled for the next Saturday (4/4).

When I arrived Saturday, I asked Shaun if I could speak with the installer, as I had some questions and concerns about routing wires through a new vehicle. Shaun took me back to the install bay and introduced me to Bryce, who would be doing the work. Bryce explained what he was going to do, and he (Bryce) put me at ease about partially disassembly the dash to tap into the front speaker leads for line-outs to the amp. I apologize if I left anyone's name out of this review, as I was sitting in the front of the store while the work was performed.

When the work was nearly completed, Shaun took me back for a quick inspection. I was amazed at the clean install under the hood as well as in the trunk. I could not tell that the dash had ever been touched! The trunk mounted amp was connected to the enclosure with some extra wire in case I wanted to move the enclosure around, and all the amp parameters were set exactly as I would have set them myself.

I am extremely happy with the work performed by Audio Electronics, and I will recommend them to anyone that wants to add a little "oomph" to their factory radio.

I didn't hesitate to call Audio Electronics after reading the reviews.  Mike was very clear and upfront with my options and prices for what I was looking for.  Didn't try and sell me anything I didn't want, and it was a good experience.  Dropped the car off, and 3 hours later came back and paid.  Honored the $10 Angie's List discount, and it was very smooth!  Seems like a very quality, well run business.  I'll take back for any additional car electronics needs.

They are always so professional and great at what they do! They wired up my LED light bars and I have no idea where the wires are running because they hid them so well. Also, my stereo was stolen and the slimy animals that stole it cut the wires out. Audio Electronics installed my stereo and even got my instrument cluster (speedometer, gas gauge etc) to work after I broke it trying to install my stereo myself! These guys are top notch and I would highly recommend them!

I have a 2009 Jetta and had tried (and failed) to get a remote start installed for it a few months back.  I really wanted a remote start as I had it in a prior car and really enjoyed it.  With the Indiana winters only getting worse and wanting to keep my car for as long as possible, I sought out another provider of the Viper remote start, which my research showed was the best option for a Jetta.
I e-mailed Audio Outfitters and Seth e-mailed me back right away and asked me to come in for a quote and to see what was available.  I was a little upset at first, I admit, but as soon as I came in i was immediately impressed-Seth recognized my name and remembered what kind of car I had.  He showed me the different types of remote start systems and based on my car, showed me what would be appropriate for my car.
I appreciated his attention to detail.
We were able to schedule a time 3 days from the initial consultation.   I came in that morning, dropped off the car, and 6 hours later came back to a working remote start!  I was beyond thrilled!
They took the time to go over everything with me and make sure I understood how it worked.  I couldn't be more pleased with the experience.

This company did just as promised.  They installed the radio I selected a really nice double din Alpine CD Receiver with Advanced Bluetooth® Wireless Technology.  They did the entire installation in about 10 minutes.  It was so fast I waited for about 2 months to write this review just in case I had problems later.  But not to worry.  I have not had a single problem with my radio or installation. 

The guys there were friendly and knowledgeable.  I would not hesitate to use them again.  Mike and Eric are awesome.

I stopped by to see what they recommended for my radio that quit working. They explained options of what it might be and made an appointment for me. I arrived early and they got right on it and did the work while I waited for the price they estimated and more quickly than they estimated.
