We gave him the fabric, he created the seat, stuffed it/padded it, put on our fabric, then added a tack strip to hold the fabric (he selected it, did an amazing job).  He handled it from start to finish, took less time than he estimated, did a FABulous job.
If you wish to use a credit card, there is a ~3% upcharge, but he was more than willing to let us take the chair if we dropped off a check since we hadn't noticed the sign (he should specifically tell customers :)
He did a great job, will use him again.

I lowered the responsiveness and punctuality grades because I was not called when the rocking chair was ready.  I had dropped it off in March and was told it would be finished in 2-3 weeks (mid-April).  When I called to check on the chair, I was told it was ready earlier that week ("didn't anyone call you?"). Price was a little high but it is a very nice upholstering job.

very well. he let me take home some sample books instead of having to decide in his shop, which was so nice. I had them for about a week, went back, gave him the name/# of the fabric.
it looks great. the chair had a lot of tucking and gathering and he did a great job.

I purchased 4 dining room chairs from a local antique shop for a great price. The seat cushions were in bad need of replacement. I chose upholstery material from a local fabric shop and planned to redo the chair cushions. I could have taken a staple gun and done the work myself but I knew my work would likely look like a and quot;do-it-yourselfand quot;. I decided to give Artcraft on College Ave a try. I had used them 15 years earlier and was satisfied with their work. Overall, it was a great decision. The wood frame on all 4 chair cushions was cracked/broken. (I suspected this when I took them in.) Artcraft repaired the frame and did a beautiful professional job on replacing the upholstery with the material I furnished. Although it was a simple job for them, it was worth the expenditure for me. Paid $60 per cushion. (Would have been $45 if the frames had been intact).

It went well. They stool looks like new. They replaced the padding and attached the new cover. They were friendly and responsive and willing to do a small job.

We went in the store and were helped to find the thickness of the foam cushion that would be best. Then we were helped to find a material for the cover that we liked in a price we wanted to pay. The service was great and the result was perfect.

They have been upholstering for us and my mother for 7 years or more. They are professional and thorough and do a good confident job. I really like doing business with them. They come when they say they are and get the stuff back when they say they will get them back. I spent $2000 on their last visit. I have been very impressed with them. They are not cheap but they are very good and use good quality fabric. Their professional and punctuality is very good. I would recommend them to other members.

It fits perfectly and looks great!

I selected the fabric from a vast array of samples in the shop. They obtained the fabric within a week and two weeks later the chair and foot stool were ready.The upholstery was carefully done and looks better than new.

They have always done top-notch work. Their price is kind of on the high side, though.

They had to re-cover some chairs. They did a very good job. Their work was worth the price. My experience with them was positive.

We are very pleased. Their price was acceptable. We have had something done from them years ago, and decided to use them again for our couch.

The owner and his staff were very professional. Took time to answer all of our questions and were true to their commitments throughout our job.

The old foam had deteriorated over time, making the cushions look tacky. Used Yellow Pages and called another upholstery company, who recommended Art Craft. We didn't know this company was on Angie's List. We called the Company, took the cushions in, found they had several qualities of foam in stock, and selected one of them. This was on Monday and they were ready to be picked up on Wednesday. The cushions were beautiful (considering their age) and the work had been done correctly, rather than the "quicky" method used previously by another firm (now out of business).

He is excellent. He is very professional. He shows up on time to pick up my furniture. I would never take a piece of my furniture any where else. He has done all my furniture as well as my parents.

I was very pleased with the outcome. I ordered fabric that was delivered to artcraft and it took approximately four weeks from receiving fabric to actual reupholstering. I love my new chair.

The store is tiny, but I went to a lot of other fabric stores in town and thought his had the best selection. I was looking for something "modern" yet cute, which is hard to come by; however, he had several fabrics I liked. While I bought the fabric, I didn't use him to upholster the furniture because his cost was about twice as much as the other two estimates I got. The only downside to the experience is that although I live just down the street from the store, it was difficult for him to get away to come look at my chair for an upholstery estimate.

THEY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. THE FURNITURE LOOKS BRAND NEW. THEY EVEN RE-MADE THE CLUB CHAIRS TO SWIVEL. THEY ALSO HAD TO REBUILD PART OF THE LOVESEAT BECAUSE IT WAS OLD, AND IT TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL.

A LITTLE EXPENSIVE, BUT DID IT IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. IT WAS JUST OUTSTANDING WORKMANSHIP.

FRIENDLY AND DID VERY GOOD WORK.
