Arbor Lane Kennels

I called them over a week ago for estimate and scheduling and no one has returned my call.

The Kennel at Arbor Lane is a wonderful place to leave your pet if you need to go away. We have been taking our dogs there for a few years now and have been so happy with the care given to our golden retrievers. The staff is extremely professional & the kennel well-run and very organized. The family is attentive and fulfills all personal requests. Last week, we requested a bath & nail trim before picking them up- they smelled so good! It was the best grooming they have ever had. We are so grateful for this place!

I've been taking my dogs to Arbor Lane Kennel ever since they used their fathers barn. Now this state of the art facility is only complimented by the superior caring staff tending to our pets while we are away. Annie the pug & Jack the Boston Terrier are always happy to go and even get excited when we pass by! I highly recommend Arbor Lane and am confident your pet will be well cared for too.

We?ve used them before and it?s always been great, but this time the lady that family-owns the kennel, let us know that one of our dogs was very sick while they were kenneled. She called us to see if we had a vet we wanted to use or she could take him to her vet, and she ended up taking him to her vet. The vet found she had congestive heart failure and the woman working at the kennel let us know before they did any procedures to see if we approved, and we did. The vet let us know that with the procedure he did that either she would get better within 24 hours or not at all, and so we returned right away. The woman remained at the clinic late because she knew we would be getting there late from Cleveland, and our dog didn?t get any better and we took her back to the vet and ended up having to put her down. They went way above and beyond, we believe, and they should be noted for that.

They are wonderful.  They are always on time and my dog always looks amazing when she leaves there.

We boarded our two golden retrievers at Arbor Lane. They stayed in the same kennel to cut cost and make sure they had each other's company.  The dog were cared for well, had three times during the day to go outside in their runs and seemed happy when we picked them up.  The staff is very friendly, efficient, and you can tell they are of course dog lovers. The facilities are very clean and fresh-smelling.   I would use them again. 
My one wish is that this kennel offered playtime with other dogs as mine like the socialization.

I trust them. There is nothing I can say bad about them. They are very personable, they care about the animals, and they are just very, very nice people. I can tell that they really care about my prized possession. They normally open at 8, but I had to drop her off at 7:30 and they were there, and they don't complain about it. They don't tell me they don't open until 8. They go ahead and take her.

They were really good. There were a couple of little things that bothered me including the quote they gave me over the phone was different from what they wanted to charge me when I got there. They did give me what the original quote was. I gave them a lot of dry food and then canned food. They gave them all the canned food and not nearly enough of the dry food. I was really specific that they only needed one 3 oz can divided between the three of them each day. I gave them good instructions. Instead the dry food had hardly been used the the canned food was gone. They all had the runs when they got home and that was the first time it had ever happened in their lives. The boarding facilities were very clean and the people were very nice. Those were just a couple of things that didn't go quite right. The father gave me the initial quote and he hadn't realized that the mother or son had raised the prices. I would call and they would let me talk to the cats; they would put them on the line. Generally everything went really well. I thought it was pretty expensive because I had 3 cats and they raised it from $13 to $15 a day plus they charge tax. It would have been great if they had given a discount for 2 or 3 cats. Their quality was very good. It was family run and the staff was very good. It was a very well run kennel. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. The office was clean. I wouldn't use them again because of the price for three cats but I would use them if I had one cat.

When my husband went to leave her at Arbor Lane Kennels they greeted her like they knew her forever and she was happy and just started walking away towards them as if saying like “ok, goodbye”! And when he picked her up it looked like they had brushed her; she is a hairy dog. Her hair looked really good and they also did her nails. They did walking with her twice a day. And I really like the idea that they have geriatric; when the dogs are bigger their beds are off the ground. I would give ‘A’s across and board and I have already done two bookings for the future.

I make my appointment way before time if its the holidays...I drop off my dogs at one of there open times.....which is twice a day during the week and once during each day of the weekin......I take special blankets and some floor beds and toys....my dogs share kennels...3 in one and 2 in another....now 2 and 2.....my dogs no where they are going and are excited to see them...I also have my paperwork..I sometimes take it before dropping my dogs off a few days early for they are so close to me....is saves time....they greet each dog by name and bend down and love on them and some of the staff help me take there things including there food in..I cook for my dogs so they store my cooked food in there fridge and give me back if theres any left....they will give medication if needed also....You just dont find people like they are so caring and good with the dogs....I really really appreciate them for what they do...and my dogs do too...

They dogs are excited when they go there. They job out of the car door and run towards the building. They love it there.

They are good and I would use them again. I like that they are onsite so if anything were to happen, they are right there. Their prices are real reasonable. They are excellent. It is not like a resort but they are well taken care of. They are there 24 hours.

Overall, Arbor Lane Kennel is an outstanding facility. One that we will continue to use.
