Andrew Warner Dog Training

We have a one year old pitbull named Wilbur. When we first got him he was awesome: he loved all people, loved to meet other dogs, and was just generally a goofy, fun dog. After a few months we started noticing a difference in him, especially when he was on a leash. He started to be reactive towards other dogs of all shapes and sizes and it was becoming worrisome. He was also terrible on our walks, he was overall distracted and pulled constantly on the leash (and he's a super strong dude). Beyond that, we had owned an aggressive dog prior to Wilbur so as soon as Wilbur showed signs of concern we immediately got nervous. We were given Andrew's name from a friend and gave him a call. I cannot tell you how thankful we are to have done that. Andrew met me and Wilbur on a freezing cold day to walk and hear our concerns. During the walk he took Wilbur's leash and by the end of the walk I already had a different dog. Andrew worked with Wilbur with an energy that is very transformative. Wilbur instantly responded to Andrew and I could almost see Wilbur's relief to have some help. Not only that, Andrew was able to explain how Wilbur was feeling and why he was doing the things he was. Andrew also explained how the things I was doing were affecting Wilbur. I felt much more in tune with my dog after just an hour. I met with Andrew a few more times and each time had the same results. He helped us with crate training, appropriate play for Wilbur, off-leash training, teaching Wilbur to be calm, and more. Wilbur responded to every session with more relief and has continued to improve. Andrew gave me homework after our sessions and he also was available for and willing to take questions in between our sessions. He checked in with us to make sure we were on track and his genuine desire to help our dog was very clear. Andrew also helped us as dog owners feel more confident and happy. I no longer worry if Wilbur has a reactive moment because Andrew gave me the tools and coaching I needed to handle it and to be able to help Wilbur myself. We are constantly improving and our goal for Wilbur to be a model pitbull is very reachable! Andrew Warner Dog Training is for real. I would recommend him to anyone and in fact wish everyone would call him--all dogs deserve his help to be their happiest. He is more than a Dog Whisperer, he is a Dog Hero.

We have attended several of Andrew's dog training classes and needed some additional training: leash walking, dog socialization while on walk, jumping when meeting people and car travel excitement.  Andrew's hour training was awesome as he provided leash control instructions as well as working on controlling our dog's excitement.  Homework was assigned and we have targeted next training session for multiple dog interaction.  Within the hour our dog developed a grasp of leash walking in a heal position and became calm in a dog meeting during the walk.

I didn't think my dog would come back as amazing and brand new as Andrew made her. Before training I had paid for the Pet Smart 6 week training and my dog still did not respond to any commands, was unruly and did whatever she wanted. 4 months later after being Trained by Andrew, she is still very responsive to all the commands he has taught her, and it has made our 2nd year together soooooo much better, calmer, and enjoyable than before her training. I would definitely recommend Andrew Warner Dog training to anyone struggling with their 4 legged friend. It may seem pricey, but it was worth my sanity and relationship with my baby girl Eva.

The training sessions have been very positive. He provided feedback and instruction which were and continue to be very helpful. Andrew has excellent communication skills and unbelievable calmness and patience. After their first training session, they were very impressed with the results. The subsequent sessions have been very positive and continue to be helpful. Andrew is also very accessible to them to provide continued support and is always willing to talk/communicate with them when needed. He truly cares about their success with the dog. I have observed Andrew in other training settings with individuals and groups and have always been so impressed with how well he works with people and their dogs. I highly recommend him to anyone having struggles with their dog . He is well worth the money and his results are excellent.
