AnA Fence and More, LLC

My first meeting with Robert was great. We went over everything and I gave him half the cost of the project to secure a date. It was downhill from there. The project was to start in September of 2020 but"because of Covid" didn't get under way for 2 months. The fence was installed crooked and Robert tried to convince me that I wanted the fence not straight but to follow the terrain. I didn't buy that and had him fix it. The hinge of the garden gate was so weak that the gate collapsed and the locking mechanism now does not work. Then there was the driveway gate... He was to install an automatic driveway gate. The gate was ugly with the wood slats not lining up with the fence and the gate kept jumping off the hinge falling flat on the side at times. Robert tried to convince me that it was vandalism when I convinced him otherwise with video footage of the gate being blown off by the wind damaging the motor. He then made me pay extra for a more powerful motor, installed it and the same thing happened. He then decided that he had to make a stronger hinge all the while the posts supporting the gate were splitting and the gates kept falling. My neighbors asked for the name of the company so they don't ever make the mistake of using them. Throughout this whole ordeal there was a lack of responsiveness and many lies and accusations. Unasked, Robert came and picked up the gate because I told him the I had to keep baby sitting it when it would fall. He picked up the automatic opener and the manual key. I tried to get a refund for the gate and it's components and the next thing I heard was that Robert was in a serious accident and the phone number is no longer his and they have no idea of what's going on, all this after Ashley was to meet with the accountant two months ago to figure the amount of my refund. I had to have a new gate fabricated and my current contractor cannot reach them to get the components to attach the motor to the new gate and the remote controls which I payed for and have not been refunded. All in all Robert and this company displayed the worst in workmanship and customer service plus they have my property for which I need to be reimbursed. Throughout this whole ordeal I was very patient, giving him all the time and extra money he needed to complete the job. This patience was met with dodginess, not answering texts and rude and contemptuous responses when we did communicate. People like this should not be allowed to deal with the public and I do not recommend this business at all. .

I contacted them a few days after the fence was installed to come out and make corrections. That was 3 months ago. I've text, called, and e-mailed them requesting they honor the "Installation Warranty", however they have given me the run around. They set appointments with me and then didn't show up or call. I was patient and understanding so I'm unclear as to why I've been treated this way. Very poor customer service. Don't fall for their low prices (you get what you pay for). The "Installation Warranty" isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

Robert was able to come on the desired day for the estimate and was able to align the timing to moving into our new home. The workmanship and follow-up, or lacktherof, has been the issue. Upon the initial quote we specifically discussed a tension wire that would keep the fence tight, since we have dogs this was discussed in depth. The quote was changed on us and then another time during the day of installation, as he said the quote did not include a tension wire. As far as the workmanship, neither gate was install correctly and also leaving a gap between the home and pole so the dogs can go right through. Also, the fence was loose and tension wire not weaved appropriately. BEWARE of the "unbeatable prices" - the quality of workmanship is awful. I've asked him to come out to fix the issues since we "have a 2 year warranty" and I was told to hire someone else!

Excellent! He came out quickly for the estimate and was able to squeeze our project in the following week since it was a smaller project. He did a great job & cleaned up afterwards. Would hire again.

Robert was very responsive and even came out same day as the request for a quote. The price was fair and he was very upfront about cost and even how to save a little bit of money. The quality of the work was great, Robert and another employee came out and got the work done in 2 days. First day was to set all the post and let the concrete dry and the next was to get all of the fencing and the gate completed. The fence looks great and everything from the beginning was very professional. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if I need any other wood work done around my home.

Went well. Fence is good. Gates are not as good as they should be. Large gaps. Our little dog gets out.
