American Satellite

When my house was resided, the contractor's team took down our satellite dish and put it back up. Unfortunately, the signal strength wasn't quite as strong as it was prior to being taken down. I contacted the satellite provider and they wanted $145 just to come out. I found Bill at American Satellite on Angie's List, and sent an email. He responded back within a couple hours. I called to make an appointment and he said he'd be out the next day. He came out, got my satellite dish back to "peak" and said if there were any further problems he has a 90 day guarantee on his work. He was also OVERLY polite - calling me "young lady" (in my dreams!). I would recommend him to anyone needing work on their satellite dish!

Bill has worked with us before. He and his assistant were very professional and responsive to our questions.

They came right out when they said that they would. They diagnosed that there was a bad connection because it was not installed correctly. They changed out all of the connections and got the job done quickly. They gentleman brought all of the pins down and showed me what had happened and explained why it had happened. I was very pleased with their service.

Bill quoted me a price that was $150-200 less than what two other satellite companies were going to charge me. He was able to come out to look at my dish the next day and then returned two days later to take it down. The job wasn't easy and he and his partner worked hard at getting the monstrous dish and rusted out pole down in a safe manner. He had to get on my roof to get access to the dish, making it even more of a task. He then had to use a cutting torch to get the pole cut up in small enough pieces so that it could be taken away. It wasn't easy trying to find someone to take down the dish so I was so pleased with Bill for his promptness, more than fair pricing (compared to others), and professionalism.

Bill did a great job. He was fair with his pricing and did exactly what he said he would do. He was also able to explain some of the techno-stuff in plain English. That was an added bonus.

Our system is very complicated. Mr. Deaton worked with us to get the system set up. He explained in detail what he was doing and even wrote instructions for us to follow. Mr. Deaton called us the next day to make sure everything was fine. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. We would highly recommend his service.
