AMERICAN APPLIANCE REPAIR

I called them to schedule a service call for a dishwasher repair. They came about two hours late (5:30 on a Friday afternoon) and gave a diagnosis and said they would call me on Saturday with a quote and to schedule a time. They did not call, so I called them and the technician seemed put off and told me he forgot but would call on Monday. He did not, so I called him on Monday and he said he had written the information incorrectly and needed to come back out to get the information and then he would have to start the process all over, delaying any repairs for a number of days. Not only was the service crappy, but the company seems suspect (you call for service and it rings at someone's home who then has to call a technician, who only returns calls about half of the time).

He was really reasonable. I really liked him. He came and fixed the refrigerator so it will make it through the night and he came back the next day with the part and he only charged me for one service call.

I discovered at 4:15 pm on a Saturday that my refrigerator was not working. I called them and they came out that very evening. Mr. Maxfield called me within 45 minutes and was out to do the repair shortly after that.
