Altic Lock Service

Barry was able to work on the doors in our house within a week of my initial call. Total cost for installing hardware and rekeying all the locks to match was $317. I did buy the lock sets myself (additional cost to Barry's charge) at his recommendation to get the job done faster without having to order any locks. Barry stayed till the job was done. I really appreciate his time and ability to help us so quickly.

Excellent service! I would use again and I highly recommend the company. I called that morning because the thumb latch on the front door stopped working. Barry was able to come out that afternoon to evaluate if the lock and door handle could be repaired or if it needed replacing. We decided to replace the door handle and deadbolt lock.

The whole job went smoothly, because Barry was prepared to deal with these older locks. He carries everything with him in his truck, and from start to finish, it took about 45 minutes. I had used Altic Lock Service at my home several years ago, so I remembered him for my business needs.

The locksmith arrived on time as we had agreed upon - even a few minutes early. I showed him what I wanted - he saved me some money by suggested rekeying the back patio lock instead of getting an all new lock, which I had been prepared to do. He did the work in about an hour and everything was done with care and with attention to detail. I'm very happy with the service and would recommend Altic to anyone needing a locksmith.

Mr. Campbell was lovely. I called him on a Saturday morning, and he was out here four hours later. He was professional, explained the whole process to me, and was in and out in less than 90 minutes -- and he didn't (at least visibly) balk at the horrific barking that my two Mastiffs made when he got into the house.  That takes courage and determination, right? The locks work way better than they ever did. He was really honest, too. I could not find a key to one of the locks and he told me that it would cost 30 dollars, but then he figured out a way to re-key it from inside, so he did not charge me. I definitely recommend him, and I most definitely would use his services again if I needed to. So this teacher says, A+ and 2 Thumbs UP for Altic Lock Services!

Was prompt (even a little early). Very professional on the phone and in person.   Could perhaps have taken the easy way out, but chose to first try to preserve the lock so I could use it again if I ever find the key.  And he was successful at that. He had it removed in about 20minutes, purely by picking it.  No saw or bolt cutters.

Our front door latch/know came loose & we feared it was broken. I contacted Altic Lock on Monday afternoon & Barry was able to come out later that day. I can't say enough about his work. Very methodical in taking the time to see if it needed to be replaced or fixed. Due to his efforts he was able to fix it & save us from buying another handle lock set that would have cost over $125.
My wife also asked him about re-keying some locks and after he asked us some questions told us he'd be happy to do it but it wasn't really worth the cost for how we used it. Love the honesty even when it cost him money!
I always enjoy dealing with honest straightforward professionals & Barry certainly qualifies . I wouldn't hesitate to use him for any of my locksmith needs in the future & I highly recommend Altic!

It was the day before moving day. A stressful time as anyone who has moved knows.  I wanted to leave the new owners with a set of back door keys and I could not locate the set I once had.  Barry very graciously worked me into his schedule and created a new set of back door locks and keys that matched the front door locks and keys.  It was the perfect solution...one key template that fit all locks!  I was very grateful for his willingness to come on such short notice and his professionalism.  I will definitely seek Barry's assistance next time I need a locksmith.

Barry is extremely professional. He showed up when he said he would and got right to work. Barry was considerate of my needs. We discussed all repairs and I received a cost prior to Barry performing the work. I have a sliding back patio door. Despite Barry offering products to increase the security of patio doors Barry informed me that my sliding door was secure and additional security measures wouldn't be of benefit. One important factor for me in hiring Barry is that he doesn't use subcontractors. He is the owner and he performs the work. Now that's quality control. I will absolutely use Barry in the future and recommend him to family and friends.

Wonderful.  Couldn't be more pleased.  He was knowledgeable, skilled, professional, responsive.  Called me back quickly, set appointment at time I requested, came as promised and did work efficiently.  I also think this was a great value for the cost.

Barry arrived early and got right to work, assessed the problem, made every attempt to restore the existing older lock by tightening and cleaning.  However, ultimately, the lock required replacement.  He took care of everything quickly and professionally and was a joy to talk with while working.  A very pleasant experience.

Barry is very professional - and obviously experienced and knowledgeable. He's "low-key" (pun intended) and personable. The front door lock works more smoothly than it has since the house was built. The door between the garage and the house took some analyzing and creativity. I hadn't noticed that the spacing between the door and the frame were off, as well as the strike-plate positioning. He added some spacers to the hinges, fixed the strike plate and re-placed the lock/closure mechanism. Again, works better than when the house was new 13 years ago. All was done in a very timely manner, and at what we thought was a very reasonable price! Would highly recommend his services.

He came out the same afternoon that I called about getting service and was very punctual.  He explained everything to me that he was doing and why.  He performed the work and had me check the lock after he was done.  Altic Lock Service was an excellent locksmith choice and I won't hesitate to use him for all my lock needs.

He showed up five minutes early. On the phone, I'd discussed rekeying six locks, but had decided that I really needed nine locks rekeyed and two new deadbolts installed. Not a problem. He gave me a discount for the large order, did some repair work to one of my jambs for free, threw in five keys for free, and finished the whole job in just over two hours. The deadbolts he installed are very high quality--the best ones in the house. I will be using Altic again and recommending him to friends.
