As a first-time homebuyer, managing the decisions around a new house can be daunting. Mr Lewis is a consummate professional.  He takes great care in methodically and thoroughly inspecting every area, every window, door, appliance, fixture, outlet, nook and cranny.  He documents any and all defects by photo and video, as well as oral and written report..  He is a teacher, providing nuggets of knowledge that aid in maintenance and cost savings. He is extremely personable and patient. His friendly and highly competent nature extends to his office staff as well. Both ladies I spoke with made the experience a pleasure.  AS if his technical expertise were not enough, Mr Lewis provides a ring binder with Maintenance how to's, graph paper to aid planning for furniture placement, maintenance checklists,, copy of inspection report etc.  He also give a gratis  discount on concurrent termite inspection for veterans, and his prices are extremely reasonable.. James was great.  Wonderful to work with and very detailed.  He knew his stuff!

Everything went extremely well.

He was on time and professional. He made a few comments on the final report that confused me. He indicated people were living in the home and stuff prevented him from doing some of the inspection. The house was empty. He also indicated a couple of things didn't work that did etc.... It wasn't a big deal since inspection was for me to see what needed to be done before we sell it.

Jim conducted a home inspection on a house we are purchasing. He took me around the home and carefully explained the problems. He explained whether the problems were serious and needed fixing while noting ones that are normal maintenance issues that could be done after moving into the home. He answered all our questions thoroughly and with clarity. He is professional and affable. The report he submitted was 50 pages in length (sent by email in PDF format) and not only explained potential problems but alerted us to important maintenance parts of the home, such as water and gas main shut-off valves. His report is accompanied with photos and clear explanations of each item. I would use him again and unequivocally recommend the company to others. 

Jim was very thorough, encouraged me to walk through with him and ask questions while he performed the inspection.  The report was returned to us late afternoon of the day he performed the inspection.  The report was easy to follow and navigate.  Jim was professional and friendly and explained things to me clearly.   I was also provided with a manual which included a checklist of routine maintenance and instructions on how to complete some jobs on my own.

Overall it went pretty well, there were things that were not found that have become issues now. There were plumbing and mold issues that the inspector did not find.

AllCheck is an amazing company with exceptional customer service. I am trying to buy a home that is a foreclosure flip. The current seller did not have all of the utilities on when I originally set up the inspection appointment. I found out that utilities were supposed to be turned on the morning of the inspection on the Friday before later in the evening. Both Jim and Jason responded to my emails within an hour despite it being later on a Friday. They rescheduled my appointment not once but twice since the seller did not get the utilities on as said. When the inspection did occur Jim was very professional and thorough. My father is a licensed contractor and had gone through most of the house previously during a viewing, everything he was able to see Jim noted on the inspection before I had a chance to point anything out. The inspection included video, photographs and verbal explanations of issues. No room was left untouched. Then to my shocking surprise Jim said that my report would be on their website that evening and it was. The turn around was unbelievable. The report was complete (47 pages in all) and spelled out every issue that the house had whether they were minor or major issues.  The report was clear and will give me adequate leverage for asking for fixes or price deductions on this house.
AllCheck also provided me with a 3 ring binder that had multiple useful information sections including how to run various systems that are typical to homes and a moving inventory list hat can be kept and used in the event of an insurance claim. They also provided a tape measure and graph paper for planning out room configurations while waiting for inspection of areas that I could not follow into like the attic and crawl space.
Jim was pleasant and friendly while maintaining a focus on the job at hand. Outstanding working with him and Jason for scheduling.

Everyone I spoke with it Allcheck Inspections was kind and courteous. They were also very patient with me as I had a lot of questions and they were able to explain any issues the home had in terms I could understand. I did have one small issue come up with the crawlspace a year after the home inspection was completed but I found that Allcheck was more than willing to go over the original inspection report with me and help me find a solution to my problem. Once presented with the issue Allcheck handled it very quickly and professionally. I was very impressed by this. I believe issues can come up with any company it is how the company deals with the issue that really shows how much integrity the company has. I will be using this company in the future as well as recommending it to family and friends.

Jason arrived ahead of schedule and was waiting for me when I got there. He was VERY professional, courteous and friendly. He had a binder that I was able to take notes in, and he went through the binder and explained everything prior to beginning his inspection. I was then able take it with me after the inspection was over. The binder also included some moving tips, and a preventive maintenance check list for my new home. Jason took pictures as he went through the inspection, explained things to me that he was doing, and then at the end of the inspection went over my entire report and discussed with me the reasons for his comments on the report. I have bought and sold many homes over my lifetime, and I have to say that Jason provided the most thorough inspection, and was the professional inspector that I have ever dealt with. I would definitely, without any hesitation, recommend him to anyone. A+++
