All Star Tire & Auto Service

There aren't enough A's on Angie's List to describe how wonderful the team at All Star Tire & Auto. After dropping my car off, they drive me to work, call me with an update and pick me up when it's done. The last time I had my car serviced it was Friday before a holiday weekend. When my car was complete they called to pick me up, but I wasn't out of a meeting at work yet. They ended up bringing my car TO ME and didn't charge me for service. You don't find companies doing things like this often anymore. They have a customer for life!

The absolute worst customer experience I’ve ever had. I took my car in at 7:45am after I had called the previous evening to ensure there would be time to change the oil while I was at work (I usually change it myself but my birthday is next week so I was treating myself). Kevin took the keys and they had a shuttle service to drop me off at work, which was a great service. Things turned bad quickly. Within about an hour I get a call and they let me know that I need brake pads, rotars, and calipers all the way around the car and it would be $1,383 (if I bought this myself, it would cost around $350). I tell them not to do it and I’d take care of it on my own when is need and they could go ahead with the oil change. Kevin assures me, again, they will call me when the car is ready to be picked up and they can shuttle me to get my car. 5:30 rolls around and I’m leaving work. No call from them so I call them up. They’re closed and have been closed for 30 minutes. They never called and never showed up. They have my car keys which also has my house key. So no car and no house to get into. I plan to write them a bill for a hotel stay and the Uber cost to get there. Absolutely unreal. I will update this review if they ever make it right, but I can tell that won’t happen. I highly advise to stay away from this place. Look at my other reviews, I’m very fair and give people chances. Not here. Not again.

If you are looking for work to be done in the downtown Indianapolis area, look no further. After looking at a couple different places, I hopped on Angie's List. I saw All Star Tire & Auto's reviews and offers. I thought that the Oil Change pricing could not be true. I did not purchase the offer from Angie's List, because the offer was only for a regular oil change. I called All Star Tire and had a great customer service experience. I feel like I have been cheated my entire life after walking away from here. I ended up purchasing their lifetime oil change. For full synthetic oil, a lifetime oil change of $514?! Can be transferable to other vehicles, or could be transferred with your vehicle when you sell it. I understand their goal is to have me come back for the large issues and breakdowns, but All Star Auto just won over a customer and the word will be passed on. Business should be run this way. Props to you guys!

This is my second time working with this business in a short time frame, this time I used a deal to get my AC fixed. Again, perfection! They are so nice and call you with updates and their dog is the most adorable front desk rep ever. You never feel that they're trying to con you or try to get more money out from you, it's truly honesty that runs the business. I will keep using this company and encourage anyone working in downtown Indianapolis to do the same. A++++++!!

It went smoothly, I was 15 minutes late to my appointment but they were able to get my car right in. The oil change was done quickly and they had me on my way.

Very professional and friendly. They were prompt and provided a no-pressure estimate on several items I will need to address in the future.
