They installed new doors. Were very professional and did a great job! I would recommend them again.

The contractor (Kurt) was initially hired by the seller to inspect windows for the home we were purchasing.  Based on his inspection and assessment, the seller agreed to pay for the replacement of the defective windows.  Due to a delay in getting the material the work was not completed until after the closing date.  Upon clarification of which windows were being replaced, we realized that the contractor missed 6 windows that needed replacing.  The contractor acknowledged that he made an error when inspecting the windows.  The seller was not willing to pay any additional money since the closing date had passed and the error was made by the window contractor. 
We agreed to have the work done and to pay the $2,900 costs in June of 2012.  The contractor did not return many of our calls nor did he respond to our email messages.  He finally came out to measure the windows in July.  Due to multiple delays, he did not finally install the windows until November.  He apologized for his poor service and lack of responsiveness, but we still paid $2,900 for work that we should never have had to pay for.  We would not ever recomment this company in the future.

We selected Kurt Albershardt from Angie's List reviews and are very happy with the results.  When he measured the openings of the existing doors, he found they were not quite the same as doors currently on the market, so he modified the openings to fit standard doors, which was much less expensive and quicker than having custom-sized doors made.  He was prompt, professional and did an excellent job.  He picked up the doors we had purchased at a local building materials store, delivered them to our home, removed the old doors and modified the opening, installed the new doors and screens, and cleaned up in less than a work day's time.  He was very easy to work with and we hope to use him again for some windows.

The work went fine. I got my doors at Menard?s and they had them listed as someone who could install. They did a really nice job and he was familiar with the people at Menard?s so that was helpful; he picked up my doors for me so I didn?t have to go get them.

We had a window that was hard to open. He fixed and did a fine job.

The gentleman was very professional and did a good job. There was one problem with the installation that he was supposed to get back with us on, but he never did.
