They did a very good job. They were very professional and started immediately as they knew I was out of service. It took them all day but they got it done. They didn't hardly break for lunch and stayed on task. I would definitely recommend them.

Adams water & Sewer came the same day our sewer failed. They were courteous & professional and worked hard to get the job done quickly in spite of a difficult situation with our sewer line. Great to work with. We would absolutely hire them again.

A water leak occurred in the water line at the meter.  We were eager to have the water turned back on so we asked them to complete the repairs without getting a quote from them first - our fault.  Their charge was extremely high for the work that was performed.  In the past, we've had lines repaired (by a different company outside of the Greenwood area) that required significant digging with heavy equipment for much less.  When I called to inquire about the charge, the receptionist was very rude and gave no explanation as to why the charge was so high... she just said that it was correct.   I would not recommend this company.

They were here very fast because we had just gotten letters from the city saying we could connect to the city sewer service. He and his crew did a great job and tried to do it without bothering me as much as possible. They are scheduled to come back in a few weeks to repair the lawns.

I called Adam yesterday and he came out to look at my property and was back out to my house the following morning. Adam is the best I have ever had. He treats me and my property with respect. He is friendly and professional. I feel that his pricing is very reasonable. Adam also has all the equipment necessary to perform the job. I would certainly call him back if I would need him in the future.

This company had kept me waiting for over 1 month.  He knew the well was out in one of the buildings.  When he finially got here he raised the agreed upon price by $1500.  I had three of my personal workmen & three days labor I had to pay to clean up his work.  Shoveling & power washing.  I was assured that would be cleaned up.  I was told I would never be able to tell there was any work done.  Everything would be graded and not noticable.  From from his statement.I've called several times without him returning calls. When I do get ahold of him,  I'm assured he will be right back to complete his work.  I asked for a load of gravel to repair the parking spots damaged.  I was going to have my workers spead the gravel since he can't get it done.  It's been so long I feel he should take care of everything.   Nor did he level the dirt where line was ran.  I chose this company due to a good rating through Angie's list.  This time it was not a wise decision.

As far as I can tell, Adams followed the Indianapolis code exactly. He came to look at the job the day I called and came back a few days later to do the job. The things I liked were that he was the only one I contacted to ask me where my water line exited the house; he also said I was NOT to call for the utility line marking. He said the person who calls is responsible and he would do it. Wow! No one mentioned that! And one even told me I had to call. He was one of two who mentioned a tracer line, which is code. The other 2 companies I talked to did not even mention it. He replaced the line with the std by code sched 40 pipe cementing each piece together, laid it in gravel, added the tracer line, then waited for the inspector. I thought he did a good job but I'm not an expert on sewer lines. The price was very good; I had one estimate of nearly $7500 and I know people who have paid upwards of $20,000. I'd say that was a bit excessive. I found that excavators charge far less than plumbers although they do not provide guarantees like the plumbers do. But honestly, how do you know the plumber will be around in a few years? They get bought out, die out, and simply disappear often enough. I found a company who had been doing sewer lines and septic tanks for so many years they probably know more than any plumber has yet to learn. I had one problem a few days later with the line inside the house; it split open at one seam. I had to call a plumber to fix it, making the repair of the sewer line a bit more expensive but still far below the average for the job. I don't know and can't prove Adams did anything to cause this; just jostling the line from outside could have happened no matter who did the job. I thought Adams did an admirable and careful job, never touching the house or damaging any plantings, and he had only about a 2 ft space between a small tree and the brick on the house to work for a short distance. The tree is fine and the brick has not a scratch. I watched them work for most of the 4 hrs although came in from time to time to warm up.

I had called Adams because another plumber had recommended them. I spoke with a gentleman who assured me he did not need to come see the project, that he understood it and that the total cost to do the project, utilizing boring instead of using a backhoe, would be $1600. A couple of weeks later (and many phone calls to other companies) I selected Adams and gave them another call. I spoke this time to a lady who was very kind but told me her father didn't remember talking with me and she was hesitant about the estimate of $1600. She said they could fit us in the next morning, so I said come and take a look, if you can't do the boring for $1600, don't do any work until we approve it. I was gone when they arrived, but after a quick look around, my husband was informed that while they could adhere to the original estimate of $1600, they could not bore through the yard, they'd have to dig it up. My husband agreed, and in short order our yard was dug up, a water line was replaced, and the whole job took less than 3 hours. We have now tremendous water pressure and a yard full of birds eating the grass seed we spead. (yes we put straw down- they are persistent). Overall, they did a great job and were very pleasant people to work with. I was sorry they could not do the boring as he originally stated, but I'd still hire them again. Their response time was super.

Two thumbs up for Adams Water & Sewer Service!  They were very responsive -- came out the same day I called -- and were also able to start the job the next morning .  They were on time both times, which I really appreciate.  They had to work in a wet, muddy, and hard-to-reach area, but did a great job tidying up the space after they were done.  I was impressed by how much care they took to find and fix the problem pipe and our drainage problem.  I highly recommend Adams Water & Sewer Service and will definitely hire them again.

Adams did an excellent job connecting my home to the new sewer line. He came out the same day I called and gave me an estimate and told me what I needed to do. When I was notified by the city it was ready for connection, he got the permit and did the work all in one day. It was a pleasure working with Frank Adams and I would highly recommend him to all my neighbors.

Very competitive price. The initial estimate didn't include check valve. The day of installation, we asked them to put in a check valve to prevent sewer back up. He was going to charge us $700 for a $50 valve. We were upset so Adam told us not to pay extra. But later through a drain plumber's camera, we found out this check valve was not functional causing back ups in the basement. Also this check valve is not accessible for service. After much negotiation, Adam came out to replace it with a special accessible check valve with $700. Now our basement is dry again.

I suspected a collapsed clay tile because of numerous roto-reuter cleanouts I performed in same location.. Contacted Adams water and Sewer Service for estimate and they responded quickly. I scheduled the repair and they found no collapsed tile upon excavation and replaced the cleanout as requested. They did a wonderful job and great cleanup

Frank and his daughters did a great job. I have a small lot and they were very careful, considering the volume of dirt to be moved, and the limited space, to keep everything away from my neighbor's plantings. I had talked to them briefly a few weeks earlier, when they were going over the work for another neighbor, but I hadn't talked to them again until they started that work. They gave me a price, and said if I was interested, they could do my job next - while the equipment was on site! They were here the next morning. They are very nice people to do business with, I like the fact that not only do you deal directly with the owner, but fit is a family business..
