He's a one man operation. If you have a problem with radon levels that are still high after he installs the mitigation system, be prepared to feel like you are a nuisance. His thorny, defensive personality makes him difficult to work with. His communication fluctuates between down right rudeness to passively aggressive non communicative. Getting a copy of his warranty was like pulling teeth. He lacks professionalism. He should not be working with the public. There are too many good providers to have to put up with this man.
Response from AAA PROPERTY SERVICES
"I am sure IF the radon level was still high I fixed it, no mention by owner that I did not. I am professional and straight forward which offends some people like this person. After 6,400 Radon Mitigation installs Indiana in 24 years I have never had one BNB complaint."

Ken was able to come out to our home the day before closing and install a radon system as well as treat mold in our attic. Ken was very detailed in explaining how every things works. He did excellent work and his price quote was cheaper than all of his competitors I called. I will definitely recommend him to others.

From the initial contact, Ken's manner was was brusk, on the verge of being rude. He stated that he needed to take a look at the system He said he would be at the house the same day, as soon as he finished another job, but could not give an approximate time. True to his word, Ken arrive less than 2 hours later. He went to the basement, and immediately said the radon mitigation system was not the issue, but that the sump pump float needed to be set lower. Without unsealing the sump pump and looking, he was certain that the water within the pipe had been pumped up from the sump pit and not from outside. He recommended that it be fixed as soon as possible. Ken then wanted to see where the sump pump was discharging in the yard and went out on the back patio to inspect it. He said nothing, but went to his truck. Ken soon returned with a ladder and a saw. He returned to the basement and sawed the pipe apart and removed the u-shaped joint. He poured about a cup of clear water out of the pipe, again stating that this water came from the sump pit, not outside (although he told me repeatedly that rain water from the outside that comes into the tube goes into my sump pit). About this time, he answered a phone call. After listening a few minutes, and pacing in my basement, he stated, something to the effect of "You know what? I'm glad you guys are so busy that you don't have common curtesy to get back to me. Just forget it, don't call me back!" Somewhat alarming, and quite unprofessional, in my opinion. Aside from emptying the water from the joint, no other work was done. Upon leaving, his advice was to "have your husband lower the float on the sump pump, and do that as soon as possible. It will be $125 if you call me out here again." Overall, this provider was quite condescending and rude, and lacked a level of professionalism in my opinion. He left my back sliding patio door open, as well as my front screen door unlatched and open (I'm thankful my pets did not get out!). I appreciate being informed and having providers take the time to explain their work and answer my questions, however this provider seemed to be lacking in customer service skills.
Response from AAA PROPERTY SERVICES
"I responded to the request [Member Information Removed] a very timely manner. After 16 years of [Member Information Removed] radon [Member Information Removed] I know when water is being sucked onto the discharge pipe from the sump pit, that is the only way water can get into the system, which is always caused by a faulty sump pump that cannot keep up with the water or the sump motor float is set to high, which [Member Information Removed] this case was the cause. I actually saved this customers basement from being flooded, the sump motor needed to be serviced thats why I suggested her husband look at it. I usually charge a service fee as do most companies but did not with this customer. I am very busy [Member Information Removed] the summer and very focused on getting the job done and moving on to the next one. I did this service [Member Information Removed] between jobs and corrected the issue for free, what more does a customer want? As for the door issue I do not agree at all. I usually come [Member Information Removed] from the garage door because that is the door closest to the basement door and I do not have to track through the home. I have installed over 4,000 Radon [Member Information Removed] the Indianapolis area, even though I try I cannot completely please everyone, I can only do the best job I can."

Ken came to the house on schedule and did an excellent job of installation. After the installation the follow-up test was near zero for Radon. With the home being on a slab it presented some challenges for installation and Ken did an excellent job with this installation. The installation was completed in under two hours and all clean-up was made. Would recommend this company again!!!

Came out on a sunday to inspect, had an estimate to me within 3 hours, stayed true to his estimate. Removed all mold from our crawlspace. We go to close the home for sell in an hour and a half. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has mold; our mold was really bad and he got rid of it all. We will have him look at our new home also.
