A F EVERSOLE

They started work on 2/24/2006 and was supposed to return next day to finish repairing one final crack in driveway and complete tuck pointing a spot they missed filling. It took over 15 calls, 2 1/2 months and a final threat to report him before they finally returned to complete the job. By that time, some of their work had failed and I asked them to correct the problem. On 6/5/2006 Jerry Eversole and his crew completed the unfinished job.

Company in wife's name but Vernon runs. He and/or subcontractors failed to get necessary permits/inspections. Failed to supervise subs, their portion of the work failed inspection multiple times. Failed to answer calls, failed to show up when promised for weeks at a time. Finally had to fire him after six months, and hire someone else to finish the job, including removing and properly replacing to code the garage floor and apron.

THE NEW WINDOWS LOOK GREAT HOWEVER, THE TRIM ADDED AROUND WINDOW ON EXTERIOR PREVENTS WINDOWS FROM OPENING WITHOUT FORCING THEM. AFTER NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS THE CONTRACTOR FINALLY RETURNED AND FIXED THE PROBLEM BUT IT WAS A HASSLE AND HE WAS RATHER RUDE BY THE END OF THE JOB. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE, THE WINDOWS WERE ONLY ROUGHED IN - WHICH WAS UNSIGHTLY AND REQUIRED SOME WORK ON OUR PART TO FINISH THE JOB BEFORE PAINTING.

NEW SIDING LOOKS GREAT, AND CONTRACTOR PROVIDED GOOD ADVICE ON EXTERIOR FINISHES AND TRACKED DOWN WHERE TO ORDER THE MATERIALS. WHILE OVERALL THE JOB LOOKS GOOD, THE CONTRACTORS ATTITUDE TOWARD THE END OF THE JOB WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THE CONTRACTOR TO RETURN TO COMPLETE THE JOB, AND HE DID NOT CLEAN UP THE MESS AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETE.
