The atmosphere is very good along with the stylists. They are also very prompt and on time.

My daughter and I called Troy Perkins for cuts and color - my daughter's hair is long, mine is short and we are both very demanding on quality of cut. Troy gave us excellent cuts and colors. It is one of the vrey few times I have walked out of a salon with my daughter and she was so complimentary - even the next day when she usually has second thoughts, she was very happy with her color and cut. She asked Troy for ombre shading; he whipped out his iPad and showed her several examples - they picked the one she liked, and hey presto! Troy listens to his clients and then works the style or color to flatter. Highly recommended. The salon also offers unusual jewelry, art and items by local artists.

do call and make an appt and tell them what ur hair is like and they find the right stylist for u. They don't pressure u to buy products.

I have just moved to the area and needed a new hairstylist.  Megan did a fantastic job!  She listened to what I said I wanted, and did a great blow out.

Seth is the best hair stylist in Indy! He is the only person that I will allow to cut my naturally curly hair. He is a master at executing whatever it is that you want. I love the work that he does. I have searched for years  in order to find someone that I could be happy with and I have definitely found him. Seth is also excellent with color. He is versatile and skilled. I always tell people about him when they ask who cut my hair. I couldn't be happier! I have recommended him to many people. If you have curls, Seth is the go to guy.

They do a great job. I have been going there for about three years. Overall, my experience with them has been good. They are not inexpensive but they are a little bit more reasonably priced than some of the better salons in town. I usually spend about $140. I would rate them highly and would continue to use them in the future.

Troy worked me into his schedule, listened carefully to what I wanted, examined my hair carefully, and shaped an unruly bunch of hair into an excellent cut.

My hairdresser moved far away so I decided to try Ado Hair Salon. I walked in and was referred to Devin Mandel. I gave Devin and idea of my wants, let her know what had been done in the past and then she did what was best. She changed things quite a bit from what I had in the past and the results were great. The best hair coloring result I have ever had. She just knew what to do and what would look best on me. She also does a good job on the cuts. I will just trust her completely - she knows what she is doing. I would recommend Devin to anyone.

I have been coming to Ado for 6 years, and have been completely satisfied with the services I receive. The staff is professional and friendly and they seem to really like working together at Ado. The salon is very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable. The stylists really listen and take the time needed to make sure they understand what you want. The salon attracts a wide variety of clients, of all ages and sense of style, from trendy to traditional. Jennifer Miller is committed to continuing education and seminars to keep stylists up to date with new techniques and services. I feel confident that my hair style will never look outdated.

Cool place. I am from Europe and have pretty high expectations when it comes to my hair. This was the first time somebody asked me to talk about my hair and my experiences with it. Very good consultation with a good close-up look to my hair after that. No superficial, I-will-try-to-wrap-you-up-as-fast-as-I-can talk or treatment. The result was splendid. Wonderful colors, awesome cut, and actually doable styling suggestions.

I called the week before to schedule an appointment, stressing that I needed someone who could cut natural curly or wavy hair. The receptionist said Julie had experience in this area and we scheduled an appointment. I arrived a little early for the appointment but didn't have to wait long. Julie discussed my needs and wants relative to hair styling and then gave me a cut that accomplished our goals. Everyone was friendly and courteous. It was a very pleasant experience from beginning to end. It is such a relief to find someone who can cut with the curl. I will definitely be returning to Julie for my next cut.

This was my first visit to Ado and Tiffany did a wonderful job giving me a new, updated look. I had been going to another salon for over 16 years and am really glad that I made the change. Would highly recommend this salon and Tiffany.

Tammy is knowledgeable and friendly and does a great job with my aging hair. I would recommend her for either men's or women's hair styling. A Do is organized and the staff is efficient.

She did a really good job! My hair looked great! She used the right products because my hair lasted through sleeping, showering and the humidity! She also introduced me to a new product that can clear cigarette smoke out of your hair. This was short notice and they were very accommodating with this. She was very sociable and friendly. I will go back here! The only drawback was waiting on her to be ready for me, but it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Great from start to finish.

When looking for a nice hair salon to get my hair cut at for my birthday, I found A Do Hair Design on Angie's List. I called on Friday and was able to get an appointment with Tammy for Saturday morning (the next morning). It was a bit difficult to find parking, but I still arrived on time. The gentleman at the front desk offered me water or coffee and I waited just a couple of minutes before Tammy came out to get me. Tammy and I talked about what I wanted and how I usually styled my hair. Tammy was very friendly and was understanding when I told her I usually go to Great Clips to get my hair cut. We decided on what to do and went back to wash my hair. Tammy washed my hair and gave me a nice head massage. It was very relaxing and laid back, as was the whole atmosphere of A Do. I was pleased at how much time Tammy took to get my cut right. She conversed with me while she worked. After she was done cutting, she styled it. Knowing that I didn't like much product in my hair, she only put things in that I wouldn't notice. Overall, I was pleased and am excited to go back again in a month. I would highly recommend A Do and especially Tammy, though I have heard they have many good stylists. I had a $10 coupon from Angie's List, which brought the cost down to $35. I gave her a tip also. I thought $45 was reasonable for the time and service and quality. I am pleased with my cut even a month later.

Seth did a wonderful job!! I was very nervous to get such a drastic haircut but he made me feel very comfortable and was easily trusted. I showed him a picture of what I wanted done with my hair and he did just that. I would recommend Seth to anyone! He was great!

I first chose this company based on reading some of the reports that were on here. I came across a couple that mentioned a stylist named Julie who was great with curly hair. I have naturally curly hair, so I thought I would try her out. It was great. There was no wait time and for the first time ever, I felt that my stylist actually cared about my hair. I originally wanted to go in for highlights as well, but since my hair was extremely damaged, we opted not to do it. The cut was excellent. Another first-people actually commented on my hair cut saying that it looked really good.

Tammy was wonderful! I had recently moved here from Tennessee and had a man there who always did great highlights on my hair, so I was nervous about finding a new stylist. When my grays started peeking through, I colored my own hair and it was way too dark and not very attractive on me! So Tammy had to come up with a way to cover up my grays and blend my new growth with my dark bland color to create a lighter, more attractive color with highlights. I was very nervous about her technique and almost questioned her about it, but my fears were unwarranted! It turned out better than I could ever have imagined! She actually did a better job than my previous stylist in Tennessee! I'm very happy with the results and actually have another appointment tomorrow with Tammy. It's been almost nine weeks since I first went in, so it's time to cover those grays again! :-)

It was excellent. The attention to detail and the quality of the hair color were top notch. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who is really picky about how they get their hair cut and who wants a great style.

I found A Do Hair Design on Angie's List. My experience has matched the good reports I read in my search. The salon is friendly, clean and attractive. Amy was able to repair a poor color job, and her cut is excellent for my hair. She is friendly and helpful and makes the time at the salon relaxing. Tammy did an excellent job with the eyebrow arch -- listening and responding to my wishes.

They listened to what I wanted and I was very happy with the service.

It was great. Pleasant, professional receptionist. Amy Sabens listened to what I hoped to achieve, showed me hair samples of color options, explained lowlights vs. highlights, and the resulting color and cut pleased me. I am looking forward to my next visit.
