Animal Removal

The Monday I came in and found the nuts inside the house I brought my personal traps into the house and set them, within 2 hours I had caught 2 piney squirrels so it's not as if it was a difficult job I hired them to do. I've contacted another company in my area that is going to come and seal
up the entry points for a fraction of what Shane charges ($185 per crawl space vent). I highly recommend if you have a critter problem you hire a professional so make sure you don't hire A Best Wildlife Removal. I neglected to check Angie's list before hiring this company had I, I wouldn't have even called them. Nothing but bad reviews

This company is totally unprofessional. The problem was an animal(s) in the attic of my mother's house that was destroying security system wiring. They did not go into the attic to a**** the situation. Shane immediately said that it was raccoons and that insurance would pay for the repair of the damage. He had his wife set a raccoon trap in the back of the house on the patio and put a squirrel trap in the gutter near the hole in the soffit. He said that my elderly mother was to call him the next morning to report if there were any animals in the traps. The next morning the large animal cage had a cat trapped in it. When he arrived the next day, I insisted that he go into the attic to evaluate the droppings that were there to determine what type of animal was getting in. His wife finally got in the attic and looked around.  He was not going to put a cage in the attic until I insisted. He also put a second trap for squirrels in the guttering. We finally caught two squirrels at two different times. He charged $85 for each animal plus an initial service charge of $145 for removal of the squirrels one of which was removed by a neighbor. He accused the neighbor of breaking his trap which was false. I would never recommend these people. They are more interested in filing insurance claims than professionally removing animals.

They offered a great price and a senior citizens discount which is what lured us to them after having called around to several listings from the phone book. A husband and wife team who looked like they were out for a Sunday drive came out to look for animal access points and give us a quote. We assumed that they were just estimators and would send a more professional technician to get into our attic and remove the racoons. Not even close...they came back and set up 1 old raggedy cage in our back yard baited with donuts and that's it. They claimed to have removed 6 full size (like 40+lbs each) male raccoons, charging her for each one plus an up front contract fee. I began to question if they were just releasing the same one in the neighborhood and then recatching it. I mean really...6 fully grown male raccoons in one attic and then there are still more up there...sounds really fishy to me. They said " we make all our money from the attic cleanout and house repair when we bill your insurance" and that is what they continued pressuring my mom to authorize them to do without a work estimate or anything. When she informed them we were getting a licensed contractor to do that work, they lost interest in doing anything else further to get the job done of removing the animals. They weren't even professional enough to come back and get their old trap for weeks. I'm really ticked that they took my elderly mother on a fixed Social Security income for six hundred dollars and she still has the same problem. Don't fall for this unqualified outfit because of the low price. It'll end up costing way more when you have to pay someone else to finish the job.

Misrepresented himself as licensed and bonded when he was not. Left two dead raccoons in attic that he said were not there-a second contractor found them in "plain sight" and removed them. Also pulled a loose wire that required me to have an electrician come out and do repairs. Wanted $2,000 for 90 minutes work. Paid him $450 to make him go away. This guy is a DISASTER

I have worked with other animal removal company in a past and never had such a painful and unpleasant experience. Squirrels were removed, I was invoiced and paid for the service - both parties were happy. I believe it is my duty to prevent other Hoosiers of that kind of disappointment.

He came out and kept insisting it was a squirrel. He set some traps to try to catch the animals. He set one of the roof and one on the carport. He was to charge us $95 for the service plus $50 for each animal he caught. So, we ended up catching one squirrel, but that was not our problem. We didn't want to keep paying him to keep catching squirrels, so we stopped using him.

They did a great job, it just got expensive because there were so many animals. I would use them again.

They used cruelty-free traps and no-kill methods; they took the animals far away but set them free. I was highly impressed with their professionalism as well as their consideration for the wildlife involved. They insisted that the traps be checked daily to prevent the animal from suffering w/o food, and came to remove the animals promptly after they were caught.

THEY SET TRAPS AND RELEASED RACCOONS IN ANOTHER AREA SO THAT THEY WOULD NOT COME BACK. $50 PER CRITTER REMOVED, $67.00 FOR THE SERVICE VISIT. THEY WERE GREAT! COURTEOUS, PERSONABLE AND FOLLOW THROUGH WITH EVERYTHING, ALSO PUNCTUAL. THEY SEEM TO BE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS. I WAS JUST VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICES. EXTREMELY PLEASED.
