The whole process took about 2-1/2 months. The first phase of tearing out and drying took less than a day and then VERY LOUD fans and scrubbers were put in place to run for five days nonstop. This was not pleasant, but it wasn't the contractor's fault - it's just something that had to be done. The workers cordoned off the affected area with heavy plastic to keep any potential mold separated as much as possible from the rest of the house. When the drying was done, they removed that equipment and a reconstruction contractor came by to talk with me about the rehab process. Because they had to tear out some old tile and wood flooring, they redid the entire kitchen floor to match all new tile (and installed new wooden flooring). There were difficulties along the way because of scheduling my job and their work times, but we were able to coordinate and the supervisor, Joe, kept me updated by frequent texts (my preferred mode of communication). The workers cooperated with our need to walk through their work area when at home and made sure doors were locked when they left for the day if we weren't here. When a subcontractor had to be here, such as a plumber or cabinet rebuilding, someone with A & D was here with them. This was insurance work, so A & D's office staff, Tricia and Leah, were patient about being paid and didn't push the issue. Everybody was, in short, professional and I was able to get answers to questions I had, and the finished cabinet rebuild and new floor are very attractive.

I cannot tell you how professional this team of amazing, kind people are. From the front office staff, to the project lead, to the wonderful people doing the work, you get nothing buy kindness, honesty, and professionalism. I have recommended them to soooo many of my friends and also to my in-laws. I will continue to work with them as long as they are in business!!! They are so reasonable and more thorough than I could have ever hoped for!!!

A&D did excellent work from start to finish, from remediating and drying the flooded areas to repairing and restoring the damaged areas. My wife and I were impressed by the close communication throughout the process: we always knew who would be coming to the house, when they would be coming, and what they would be doing. At the outset, they said the remediation and repair would take up to six weeks, and it actually took about four, beating their timeline by two weeks. The work was high quality throughout - they promised everything would look as it did before the accident, and they delivered. We would definitely use them again.

The staff of A & D Hydra Clean were wonderful. They removed and reconstructed so my kitchen and pantry look like nothing ever needed to be done. I had contact with several different specialists for both removal and reconstruction. They were all caring, thorough, and professional. I could not have asked for better treatment. I am actually glad our paths crossed, but I wish the circumstances were different! I give them my highest recommendation.

From first contact to final restoration, the crew from A & D could not be more professional and respectful. All of them were skilled in their trades and took the time and care to do a quality job. The only minor hiccup was scheduling during the restoration. There were two times that miscommunications occurred and I ended up waiting at home with no crew coming. That said, I would use them again in a heartbeat but would make sure the scheduling was crystal clear.

A & D Hydra Clean found the problem, filmed the problem for the HOA, cleaned up the problem all the while under stringent timeline of the homeowner for her closing sale of condo.

We had a bathroom toilet that got stopped up and the toilet just ran causing water to flood our bathroom, hallway, bedroom and kitchen. A & D were there within an hour to start the drying out process. They kept us informed of everything happening while they tore out everything that was going to need replaced.

The craftsmanship of their work was superb. The new drywall of my kitchen ceiling was installed seamlessly, and could not tell where the old dry wall ended and where the new one began. As for the bathroom rehab, shower subway tile and plank floor tile looks great. I did have to call a couple days later after the install of my new vanity because the peat trap was leaking, but was repaired the next day. Overall great experience and I would definitely hire them again.

From the first call to the end of the job the employees of A & D were the most prompt, polite, professional, honest and thorough group of workers we have ever had the pleasure and to work with. The emergency on-call tech arrived within a 1/2 hour in a completely outfitted truck clearly prepared to deal with anything he was called to. He took a surreal number of pictures documenting absolutely everything, showed us damage we would never have imagined could happen and told us what we might expect to find as they began the remediation process. Moisture meter in hand he actively checked every porous surface on both floors for damage and then began the monumental task of removing the worst of the collapsed wet drywall ceiling from our new furnace. More staff arrived quickly after that. More debris was torn out. Heated blowers and dehumidifiers were placed on both floors to really dry out the spaces and prevent mold. Plastic sheeting was hung and taped to trap the dry warm air and keep the tear-out dust and debris from being tracked through the house or sucked into the house ventilation system. And neat. Everything about the work was neat. Neat as in clean. As clean as possible. More clean than we ever imagined was possible. Once Sears arrived and verified the error was theirs the real kitchen tear-out could begin. Every precaution was taken to protect what cabinetry was dry and to preserve what was damp but undamaged. The flooring was history as was the subfloor. We were continually surprised by the level of care they demonstrated for us and our home. They coordinated quickly between themselves, kept us informed and worked to remediate as much of the water damage as possible spending about 12 hours in our home that first day. At all times the staff of A & D were wearing clean uniforms and protection on their footwear to safeguard carpets, etc. No one smoked, even outside. At the time we thought it was amazingly professional but a bit over the top. I mean, really, they were tearing out the middle 25% of our house because it was a waterlogged mess. We expected a huge mess. They were having to tear out sodden drywall that lay beneath all our bathroom plumbing including the toilet drain along with walls, etc. What we got was a fairly well confined disheveled space that they worked very hard to keep from overwhelming us. We appreciated just how conscientious they were. During this 'demolition' and drying phase of the work, they showed us that even one full side of the garage drywall was sodden and would need tear out and replacement. We were in shock. In fact that word pretty much describes our state of mind those first 5 days of the 'water disaster' as we had grown to call it. We were in shock but A & D didn't miss a beat. We knew we needed help but we were completely unprepared for the sheer destruction wrought by water. They descended on the house and had the preliminary tear-out of compromised drywall, lighting, cabinetry, walls and insulation done in a matter of a day or two. We knew they had a great reputation with Angie’s List but we also discovered that they had an excellent reputation with our insurance company and our adjuster. Even as early as the second day the moisture meter (now our new favorite high-tech friend) was showing improvement. Drywall now gone in many places, the 2x4’s were visibly beginning to dry. All the damaged cabinets were collected in the garage and being dried until we could decide what options we had. Suddenly we were faced with questions we had never even considered. We lost the bathroom vanity and two kitchen cabinets that would require professional repair. Repairing the old cabinets would require a master craftsman because they would need to match the remaining cabinets. Remodel the kitchen instead? We didn’t even know where to start. A & D suggested we speak to a few companies they worked with and trusted to give us some ideas and what might be affordable options. We would have close to a month before we were dry, new walls up and paint and carpet replaced. In the end we chose to remodel our kitchen/dining room. A&D acted as the general contractor and monitored every step along the way. Their flooring installer did immaculate work screwing down a new subfloor as requested and putting down new plank flooring. The flooring and remaining berber carpet met cleanly and looked better than it had when it was first installed. The workmanship through the entire remodel was fantastic with only a couple of hiccups in the entire process. When the hiccups occurred, A&D staff were on top of the situation even if it meant coming out at 10pm when we discovered a brand new plumbing fitting had a flaw in the casting (not the plumbers fault in any way) and was spraying a pinhole jet of water under our new cabinet. Yes, at 10pm they brought a heater, dehumidifier, blowers and plastic to form a barrier to be absolutely certain the new cabinet wasn’t damaged. They were incredibly dedicated to see the project completed perfectly. A&D coordinated with our insurance to cover the water damage and billed us project by project for the remodel work. They coordinated all of their people and the contractors for the remodel portion of the work and we now enjoy a beautiful house returned to new condition. Never once did we regret our decision to work with A&D. They treated us kindly and with respect at all times. When all was completed their final ‘job’ from the water disaster was to clean our carpets. Now that was a great day!

Truly Amazing Results!  James and Ben came out when the weather was near zero.  Bless their hearts, they looked cold.  They took a good look at all the the problem areas and after taking a few minutes to plan their efforts and heat the truck tank to be sure the lines didn't freeze they got to work.  After they started they didn't stop moving for hours.   My carpet looks brand new and those old spots?  Gone.  Really gone.  Spots I didn't realize were there that they pointed out are gone.  They went through the house with a black light to spot any pet stains we missed.  They had blowers on everything to be certain everything would be dry quickly and took great care to maintain the house heat by installing a 'sock' at the front door.  They worked quickly, were considerate of my belongings and in every way were absolute professionals! I can't recommend them highly enough.  A&D staff, from the appointment call to the finished carpet, were wonderful to deal with and we will not ever consider another provider for our carpet cleaning needs.  They may not be the cheapest company with those 3-room $99 specials but they are the best at what they do and absolutely worth every penny.  They did a lot more than 3 rooms, used cleaners that were safe for my pets and the quote for services didn't come with any add-on offers like deodorizers and deep cleanings!  They did all those things included in the one price.

I thought they did a good job. There was a strong push for, I thought, unnecessary services and they kind of dropped the ball on one thing, but they fixed it.

It was great. While my landlord hired A&D and handled the estimate and payment, I was present for the day to day work. I can attest that the crew was professional and fast. My home looks amazing and you can tell that they paid great attention to detail.

The contractor overestimated work, did low quality repair (with exceptions like their dry wall repair and painting) and poorly supervised the project

They did not tape off walk through closet and blew dust on everything in closet. Caulking in between tiles lightened with routine cleaning. They said it was due to usual wear.

We hired A & D for a big renovation project on our home ? a new kitchen, three new bathrooms, new
flooring, paint?I cannot say enough good things about this company!  We
had great communication from them throughout the entire project, we enjoyed
everyone that we worked with, and they did a beautiful job, leaving no detail
untouched.  They gave us a very reasonable timeline for our project to be
completed and even finished early!  Their company is filled with honest,
hard-working employees and I would highly recommend them.

I have been working with A and D Hydra Clean for 11 months. It started with the need to evaluate a severe mold problem in a bedroom at my family home. After the walls were opened, it revealed a much more serious condition of years of ground water damage and roof leaks which had caused damage to the foundation support wood and the wood subfloor throughout 2/3rds of the house. During the evaluation and report stage, A and D brought in a roofer and a structural engineer and recommended the air quality testing company. Their report was accompanied by over 100 photos of the damage in the crawl space and the bedroom. Aaron and Steve and his team were very honest about the repairs that would be needed and the high price it would take. They helped me make my decision to not attempt the rehabilitation of the house. In the months that followed, I had monumental tasks to accomplish including relocating my 97 yr. old father and my disabled sister from their home of 50 years, and emptying the house of the 50 years of belongings. I live in Florida and relied heavily on A and D for the security at the home in Indianapolis. The office staff of Tricia and Leah constantly kept me informed by phone and email of the status of the house and the account. They never pressured me for payment and were always supportive when I was in town and able to visit the office. Steve was in charge of physically visiting the property from Oct through July. He winterized the house and gave updates on conditions at the house. He and his crew also helped me with the initial clean out in Sept. and Oct. They were respectful of my need to carefully dispose of family belongings. They gave good advise when I had difficulty letting go of items in question. Miraculously, I was able to sell the house with the closing being in July 2016. Aaron again helped with the final clean out of the 2 garages filled with tools and construction supplies. There were hazardous chemicals from my father's days as a science teacher and from his years of always repairing his own vehicles. We were under a 4 day deadline to remove the hazardous materials before the closing date for the sale. I had a difficult time researching companies that would service a small job such as mine. Aaron really took the time to find a solution and the garages were cleaned out with 2 days to spare. The fees for the hazmat procedures are high by nature and A and D was mindful of my financial situation and stayed in a reasonable price with that. I can't think of any other company who would have done as good of a job and have taken as much time and interest as A and D Hydra Clean. The whole process of closing my father's house up was overwhelming for me. At every stage the entire staff, from the owners, to the crews, to the office staff, was professional, knowledgeable and supportive of my family and me. They say that people are brought into your life for a reason. And I am certainly grateful that my path crossed with the owners and staff of A and D Hydra Clean.
