I called Steve regarding setting up my new monitors on Monday AM. He came out today, Tuesday, @ 10 AM. They work perfectly. Steve is my "go to" computer guru. He helped me with purchasing a new computer on 12/1/14. He went with me to buy the computer, transferred my files from the old computer to the new computer, and set up my new computer. My work is very time sensitive and he realizes that. He has always been professional, punctual, and helpful.

I called Steve and explained my computer was down. I am a CPA and this was a really bad time for this to happen in the middle of tax season. I called Steve around noon on March 17. He said he would try to make it out that day, if not it would be tomorrow. He called me about an hour later and said he was on his way! My computer was fixed within an hour of his arrival.

Steve talks on a level that I could understand (I would say my computer knowledge is "average"), vs. my former computer repairman who unfortunately is no longer with us anymore. It is easy for a computer "geek" to talk over people and make things hard to understand, Steve did not.
He also gave me some suggestions to improve my computer's life and its performance (surge protectors, back ups, etc).
I recommend him!
"Please note: This report was submitted over two and a half years after the stated date of service. After reviewing my records and looking up her address, to refresh my memory, I would like to address several facts: 1) Price: I know of no company that will go to a home and provide computer service for two hours for the stated price. 2) Responsiveness: Her request for service was received on 9/4. She received a call within 24 hours and the appointment was set for 9/14. This fact is reflected in both my calendar and my invoice. 3) Punctuality: I arrived within 5 minutes of the agreed upon time. 4) Professionalism: I was clean and neat. Please see my other reviews for insight of my professionalism as viewed by others. As for “It went horribly”, this is not what she said at the time. I assisted with a data transfer and setup a printer. These things were accomplished. I did not do anything to her computer. At the time, she indicated she was pleased. I did not try to charge her for more money. I may have recommended a course of action for issues we discussed, but I absolutely did not attempt to sell her a service she did not need, nor increase my price on the spot. As this was over two and half years ago, I have to suspect that she has me confused with another vendor, especially as her stated date of service was two weeks after my appointment with her. Additionally, she says she took the computer to Best Buy to have it worked on. Again, I performed no work on her computer, except to transfer data and setup a printer. Assuming it is me that she is referring to, I somehow managed to offend this client. I sincerely regret that."
When he delivered my serviced computer, he made sure all network and printer connections were in place. He taught me how to perform maintenance on my computer and answered all of my questions.
"I appreciate the nice report, but how did I fail to completely satisfy in any category? In other words, what could I have done better??"

As the computer slowed down, we sent him an incomplete email. He came the same day to check it and took it in. He ran diagnostic and identified the problem. He repaired the computer and checked it. He called to return it. He was able to return it 3 hours earlier than we had anticipated. He set up the computer in our office and made sure everything was functioning. He took all of our recyclable electronics and everything is working fine. We are always pleased with his service.
Mr. Freeze was very professional and very punctual. He was extremely good at explaining what the problem was and exactly what he did to correct it in terms we could understand.
