1-800-GOT-JUNK?

I was helping a friend move the past two weeks. Her realtor had recommended that she call 1-800-Got-Junk. She had them out to haul away trash, which they did on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. All the employees were pleasant, efficient, and professional. The employees were Pete Stuart, Gage Moss, TJ (Tommy Jones), John Morris, and Layke. On Tuesday, the last day to haul away trash, she was suddenly left without a mover after the mover took one load, then quit! Got-Junk was there when she got the call on Tuesday, and Pete Stuart coordinated one truck to finish the trash and called for another truck to move remaining home items to storage. John and TJ then put home items into storage. They put one area under a tarp for us to move or to call back if we wanted Pete to move. We called back. The next day, Wednesday, we asked for Pete to move the remaining items from under the tarp into the truck, which Pete and Gage did in less than 15 minutes! The new homeowner was really impressed and asked for a card from Pete and asked about pricing, etc. I am so thankful that Pete was able to coordinate the move to storage! He was a God-send! And all went quickly, taking less than one hour from start to finish on Wednesday. I am definitely recommending 1-800-Got-Junk on nextdoor.com on the west side near Eagle Creek and Angies List! This is an honest, up-front company with great employees with a heart of service!

It went great - they were real lifesavers for us (shout out to Rex and Joel who came to our rescue both times). The procedure is exactly as shown on their web site - no surprises. They gave us a quote, and got right to work. It was hard, dirty work, but they were VERY professional. The sweep up at the end is nice too. I hope I never have enough junk to have to use them again, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate!

They called ahead as requested and arrived when promised. The two men were professional and we would use them again.

Super! My husband and I had cleaned out much of the light stuff but they moved the heavy furniture. I think they must have made 100 trips up and down stairs! Not cheap, but worth the cost to get rid of all the stuff.

They two gentleman that came were very professional and conscientious about not tracking dirt into my home..  I had the items gathered into a couple piles and there was a desk upstairs  Price is determined by volume of items (like cubic yards, I guess) .  Other than the put-it-together-yourself desk in the upstairs of my home - every thing  was in close proximity to the truck and they were literally there 20 minutes for the estimate and loading.  I thought $200 was a bit excessive considering they tore everything apart before putting it in the back of the truck and it would have been more were it not for the coupon.



If I ever need their services again - I'll tear stuff apart first

They come into the house and actually take the item out for you regardless of where it is. And they donate anything they can. And their workers are friendly, and nice.

They were convenient. They did really well. The price was reasonable. They showed up exactly when they said. They did it right then and there and cleaned up afterwards. It was a good deal.

The thing that I really liked about it was it was especially for older people. My dad is in 80s, and I am in my 60s. Any place that is in the house, up in the attic or down in the basement they go and get it and carry it out and take it away. They try to refurbish it, so most of it goes to recycling. They don't take it to the dump. I was just calling around and the fact that like a lot of the places that I donate things to I either have to have it out of the kerb or on the porch. People won't go up and do steps. When I found out that these people will go any place in my house and remove what I don't want that was the big reason for me and the fact that they try to recycle it. I did a coupon, so I got it cheaper. The experience was great. I believe that I get what I pay for. This is really like full service. A junk guy probably would have come and done it for $100 and taken it to the dump. I actually paid more, but it didn't go to the dump. It was serviceable stuff that my dad didn't need anymore. When the guys came, they were clean and courteous. They represented their company very well.

They went underneath my shed and took some landscaping logs that were rotting. They are outstanding people. They called back immediately to make sure I was pleased.

I get a bunch of stuff together, and when I have a load, I usually give them a call. I have used them twice already. I like that I can call them and they will come. They are very accessible, and there is no waiting involved. If I call them one day, sometimes, they can come the same day or they will come the next day; I don?t have to wait two weeks. It is about $80 for a small-sized load. Their service is quick, and I am pleased with them. It is a little bit expensive, but it is worth to get it done. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

It went fine. They came out to my home and gave us an estimate for the job. They came on time and they did what they said they were going to do. They were professional and courteous.

They quoted me rates up front so I knew ahead of time what it was going to cost. I would not use them again for hauling away dirt or gravel, I would consider using them for activity such as cleaning out a basement.

This is the second time I have used them. They were prompt, they explained their services well in advance, they came out and gave you an estimate, they move everything wherever it might be, and they cleaned up after they finished. They are very courteous. They are very through in their work.

They worked like troopers! Came on time with 4 people and did a super job, over and above what I would have expected!

Brett called prior to coming and arrived on time. He gave free estimate of the job, which was very reasonable. He and his two helpers separated items, that would be recycled or given to charities, removed the junk and swept up when finished. Very polite and professional. Excellent service.

THEY CHARGE BY VOLUME AND ARE NOT VERY GOOD AT ESTIMATING THE VOLUME, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE IN THEIR FAVOR.

THE TWO EMPLOYEES WERE VERY POLITE AND COURTEOUS. UNIFORMED EMPLOYEES & WELL MARKED, CLEAN TRUCK. NICE TO KNOW THEY TRY TO RECYCLE, DONATE, ETC. ITEMS RATHER THAN AUTOMATICALLY SENDING ITEMS TO LANDFILL. WHEN I CALLED 1-800-GOT-JUNK, OFFICE STAFF WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COMMUNICATED CLEARLY AND EFFECTIVELY. WAS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO ACCEPT FINAL PRICE WHEN EMPLOYEES CAME TO MOVE DESK. PRICE WAS IN THE RANGE QUOTED ON THE PHONE. MUCH MORE PROFESSIONAL THAN I EXPECTED. HAD TO CHANGE APPT. TIME AT THE LAST MINUTE. THEY ACCOMMODATED MY SCHEDULE & SHOWED UP WHEN PROMISED. THEY CALLED 1 HR PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.

T.J. & MARK, THE TWO MEN THAT CAME, WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY MADE SURE THEY HAD PICKED UP ALL THE SMALL PIECES. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN.

WERE ON TIME, VERY FRIENDLY, AND EVEN CARRIED A HEAVY ITEM TO THE GARAGE FOR ME.

ARRIVED EXACTLY ON TIME! COURTEOUS! VERY PROFESSIONAL; NO HIDDEN COSTS, ETC. THE BEST HAULING SERVICE I`VE EVERED USED!

HAULED AWAY A SHED WE HAD TORE DOWN AND MISC. JUNK. TWO EXTREMELY NICE PROFESSIONALS WHO WERE CUSTOMER FOCUSED.
