LEHMAN FLOOR COVERING INC

Lehman Floor covering it's highly used in the area and highly recommended here in the area. They have been in business for a long time. We have known the owner for some time. She gave us a very good price on the best carpet available. Their installation credit was second to none. It was first class.

 I went to Lehman Floor Covering to check on flooring as I had done business with them before. After explaining that we had rented our house out and the renters trashed the home, they told me that Lehman's had expanded to doing remodeling as well as floor covering. They came to the house to take some measurements. While there, they saw some items needing attention (roof leak repaired and gutters needing to be cleaned) and took care of them.

 After giving them the OK to proceed, they started the following week on the house.  Rocky was extremely helpful with design ideas and ways to implement what we wanted done. Tami and Todd helped us with colors, flooring, cabinets, and counter tops. When we returned to the house for the first time the house had been cleaned, the refrigerator and freezer had been cleaned, and the lawn had been mowed. The remodel work was in progress. I was very impressed!  We had the following work done over the last several months:

1. Driveway expanded, stone added, and the drive graded to allow proper drainage. The lawn mowed and trimmed and weed killer applied to new driveway.

2. We then had a bedroom converted into a master bathroom and a walk-in closet. This included  closing up a window and doorway, installing new walls, building a closet with shelving,lighting, and hanging rods plus the  bathroom with new sink,sink cabinet, mirrored unit with lights over sink, toilet with cabinet above, bathtub enclosure with sliding doors, all faucets (oil-rubbed bronze), new flooring, lighting, and vent fan. The plumbing in the bath was a very labor intensive job as they ran a new line into the main sewer line . The water line was tied into existing supply lines.

3. Next we had the back porch converted into a laundry room - new walls, ceiling, floor (built up above existing concrete floor to level it with the main house and  installed new vinyl ) , new hot water heater, new filter system, new lighting, new paint, new back door, rebuilt steps, outdoor hydrant and washer/dryer hook-up. The water and sewer lines were redone as well.

4. In the master bedroom we had a doorway closed up, covered with drywall, prepped and the room painted and carpeted.

5. In the living room we had a wood stove removed, the flooring and walls behind the stove were remodeled to match existing walls. We also put down new carpeting and had some shelving installed.

6. We had a serious drain problem in the existing bath. Rocky and his crew removed the toilet, ran a snake 25' into the main, opened the end cap, pulled out a stuffed animal, a paint brush, and othe debris, reran the toilet drain line, and installed new toilet. (This, by the way, was after we had another plumber unstop and clean up the toilet and partially open the toilet drain.)

As you see, the extent of the work done at our house was extensive and well worth the money. I so appreciated the attention given to the house and I am sure I have missed some things that were done.

We came home every week-end to work on outside items . When we arrived the house had been cleaned, the trash taken out, and all large items removed from the house were disposed of by Lehmans. This was done every week before the crew left the property.

In addition Rocky was awesome at keeping us informed and advised throughout the remodel process  by phone calls, emails (complete with pictures) . Needless to say, we have hired Lehman Floor Covering to do another job for us - to remodel our entire kitchen. Rocky, Tami, and Todd have been a pleasure to work with and we will continue to do business with them for any future needs.
