Very disappointed with the lawn mower repair side of the Beckler Power Equipment business in Huntington, Indiana. I try to shop local whenever possible, so I naturally wanted to use Beckler Power Equipment to repair our lawn mower. It is a mixed-gas powered small push-type mower. They assured me that very little can go wrong with them. They said it would be $15 for them to take a look. After a week of not hearing from them, and no answer to the phone calls--not even the ability to leave a message, I stopped in. Oh...it had been pushed back and forgot, so they would get right on it. I could pick it up the next day. The next day, I was charge $125 for parts and labor. I received NO PHONE CALL to even discuss whether I wanted to move forward with such costly expenses for a small mower. It is very frustrating when you are rewarded with shopping local by this type of service. I do not plan to use them again, and I will recommend my neighbors not use them either.
