I scheduled a booster for vaccines and walked out with a barrage of tests performed on my animal without any explanation of what was going on or consent of services. Ended up with a huge bill and a traumatized dog as a result.
While I probably wouldn't have minded having a full workup done, this was not what was scheduled and at no point was it explained that all of these tests would be done. I didn't even know what all was done until I looked at the bill. There was absolutely no communication during the exam of what would be done and my dog was completely terrified of what was going on.
The nurse first attempted to draw blood and ended up just stabbing my dog's paw before giving up to go and get the vet to complete the blood withdraw.
