All I knew was that I wanted some controlled temperature storage. So when we were getting a new furnace, we decided that would be the time to have ducts run to our walk-out attic to make it climate controlled. But, of course, in order to make that work, we had to have the area enclosed and insulated. We had two quotes to finish the attic that were about the same price, but they were as different as they could be in their concepts. The other contractor was going to put nooks and crannies here and there, and he was going to finish the entire space. Dave's idea was much simpler. He suggested a room within a room with it's own door and large shelves on both sides. We liked his idea because it didn't interfere with the air flow that was needed in some other parts of the attic, and we had worked with Dave before and knew he did excellent work and was easy to work with, so we chose him. He worked quietly and efficiently to do the job and was very good at conferring with us about how something would be done. We ended up with a perfect storage room, better than I had envisioned, thanks to Dave. We have absolutely no problem recommending Dave for any carpentry job. He has done many projects for us both big and little and has always done a great job.
