OK. The technician was nice, and our situation was complex because of some DIY work done by a previous owner. The tech worked to remedy the issue as best as possible. It was less than good looking when finished. He had to cut the outlet plate and it ended up looking messy enough that we had to caulk it, but it was a tricky job. He did the best he could.

Great experience.  Two workers came out promptly to complete the work.  Very professional and courteous.  They even took away the old hardware and lights to recycle.  All the work was completed in an hour and I thought the price was great for everything they did.  I was putting off this project a while and it was great to have it done so easily and efficiently.  I will be definitely using them again!!

Fantastic. We selected Foster Electric to fix things that a previous electrical contractor had not been able to fix. The biggest problem was diagnosed as a broken ceramic clamp in a 55 year-old electrical panel. The previous contractor was unable to find the source of the problem after several days on the job; and left us with no stove, oven or disposal and extension cords running through the house. Foster diagnosed the problem in less than 15 minutes and did an outstanding job locating the needed part. They also replaced all of the 55 year-old switches, outlets and phone jacks throughout the house. The Foster electricians were very knowledgable and experienced. Couldn't be happier with them.

Fred responded promptly and provided a thorough estimate.  Jeff arrived at the appointed time.  Was very courteous, took time to explain everything, carried out the work in a professional manner.  Everything was tested and worked right the first time.  Cleaned up very well. I had additional questions about other electrical work in the house and he was an excellent source of information. Honored my request not to wear street shoes inside the house.  Our overall experience was wonderful and we will be using this company for additional work.

work was done but charge was exorbitant. did not supply itemized receipt. Worker made phone call to someone and that someone pulled an amount out of their A** and that was the charge.

We would highly recommend this company. We realized we had a problem when the lights kept flickering in three rooms. We checked it out on the internet and found that it was likely an indication of a bad circuit breaker in the electrical panel, which could be a potential fire hazard. We called another company first and they could not come out for about 2 weeks. We contacted Foster Electric and they sent Joe and Dave out the same day. They knew exactly what the problem was and had the necessary parts with them to take care of it immediately. They explained everything to us and answered all of our questions.

I live out of state and needed repairs done in a family home for sale. They were responsive with scheduling, professional, on time, worked several hours in the heat of the attic. Friendly team of electricians who went right to work. Provided detailed invoice. They are excellent.

I had Foster Electric Co Inc remove and install a ceiling fan for me. They were prompt and did a good job.

Everything was perfect. The town's building inspector had no complaints and gave us passing marks.

Two guys arrived 15mins early and were finished before the appointment time. They were very punctual and professional, but they still charged me for an hour's worth of work even though they were done and left my house within 20 mins. The guys were very nice and explained what they did, and I was pleased with everything except the price. I feel as though the hourly rate should be adjusted for the time actually spent on the job.

On time and good job. Two minor issues - the light placement was adjusted because of a joist, but I was not informed of it prior to cutting into ceiling and the clean up afterwards was poor. The adjustement turned out fine, but was just not what i wanted. They didn't charge me for replacing a switch to make up for it.

Foster provided a reasonable bid and completed the job on time and in professional manner. I would highly recommend their work to anyone needing electrical work in the area.

We purchased this home recently and had an outdoor outlet that was not working and the lamp post in front had stopped working. We had tried to replace the outdoor outlet however without success. Foster electric came out and were able to determine what the issue was pretty quickly. Well, come to find out that particular outlet and the lamp post were controlled by the same indoor light switch (which we were unaware of as we had recently purchased the home). So when we replaced the outlet ourselves we needed to reset it and didn't. So no real work or replacement was completed but we were greatful for the education they provided us with! Very Satisfied and would call on them again!

He was effective and to the point. He did it on time.

Over the weekend I had a breaker flip and it wouldn't turn back on. First thing Monday morning I called Foster and they sent Dave out a few hours later (another company I called couldn't get anyone out here until the next day). Dave showed up, immediately knew to look in the attic, found the burned out wiring and replaced it. He was very friendly and professional even while climbing into the attic on a hot day and getting covered with blown-in insulation, and when he was done he even offered to clean up the insulation that had come down with him. He also gave me a heads-up on a few other potential non-electrical issues he saw in the attic. I was very impressed and will certainly call them again.

What a great team! Joe and Dave were here on time, got the job done in, what I consider record time, no mess the price was fantastic and they also provided a little comedy relief! I will definately be calling Foster Electric again and will be recommending them to everyone.

We were doing some upgrades in our bathroom and decided to contact an electrician to move the wiring for a light fixture to the center of the vanity so we could replace our current lighting. We called on a Thursday. Fred the owner came out to look at the job the next morning at 10:00a.m. and give us an estimate. We were looking forward to working on the project on the weekend. Fred was able to accommodate us by having someone come out and complete the job for us by noon. We really appreciated the prompt service and while our job was very small, we felt it was as important to this company as it was to us. We will definitely use this company again.

My overall experience with him was excellent. He was fast and accurate and did very good work. He was clean and professional, and he did what he needed to do. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.

The two workers who came were courteous and worked quickly, and they cleaned up after themselves, taking garbage with them. I have used this company in the past and plan to use them again.
