The work was done soon after they recieved the deposit, which I appreciated. However, I never got a phone call once they were onsite to do the work. I came home to find short lengths of galvanized pipe connecting the water heater to the old pipes. There was no note, no message, and no copper. Why would anyone complete less work when they have a chance to make money by catering to the customer?
Additionally, the boiler needed a valve before it could be run and tested. After the valve went in, Economy said they used the wires adjacent to the boiler to cycle the boiler, but never ascertained whether the system worked from the thermostat. Again, no call. My goal was to know I have reliable heat for the winter, not to have a part put in and be left with a mystery.
I'm a new homeowner and was hoping for someone to rely on for future work, but after doing the bare minimum and not communicating it probably won't be Economy.
