CAMP'S HEATING COOLING

Camp's provided a prompt call back upon my initial contact. I was in need of a new cooling system and wanted to replace my heating system as well since both were approximately 30 yrs old. Camp's was recommended to me by an acquaintance and is a small contractor where you deal directly with the owner. Camp's was prompt with estimates for several different systems all using Goodman equipment. Camp's equipment replacement quotes uses Goodman equipment unless other equipment is requested by the customer. Camps equipment lines are limited to what is available through his suppliers so if you want a specific manufacturer's equipment other than Goodman you need to ask up front. A home heating & cooling evaluation was performed to properly size new equipment for my home. A estimate was then tailored specific to the home evaluation and my desire for a 95% energy efficient furnace and an outdoor heat pump that both heats and cools; instead of a standard cooling condensing unit only. This particular installation also included a new indoor evaporator coil, programable thermostat, and a Media air cleaner cabinet. The estimate included all necessary tubing, vent and drain pipe, sheet-metal, electrical materials and labor for a complete installation. There were a few items not in the estimate that we discussed up front so I was fully aware there would be some additional costs for these items in my final billing. Camps was more than willing to answer my calls with questions i had about equipment or installation coverage prior to approving any work. I decided to approve Camp's to proceed with the work and upon doing so equipment was prompt to arrive and the work started immediately upon material arrival. We agreed to payment terms for equipment and labor prior to ordering equipment and starting the work. The contractor provided a standard one year labor warranty and equipment warranties were as stated by the equipment manufacturer. The contractor stayed at the work until completed and informed me of any day he would not be present due to other commitments. To date I had one call back for a defective fan in the heat pump which was handled promptly and under warranty. Camps helped me register the equipment with the manufacturer for warranty purposes, provided information for my utility company rebate, and gave me a quick lesson on how to operate the programmable thermostat. Both Camp's installation and the manufacturers equipment has been reliable for 19 months. I am fully satisfied with Camp's installation and would recommend this contractor to other homeowners seeking a honest, reliable HVAC contractor who takes pride in their work for your home heating and cooling needs.
