They came out, looked at the leak that I had around the chimney, provided a fair quote and were able to begin work the next day. They took pictures of the before/during/after and provided them to me at the end. It was very helpful.

Since then they have been here a few times for repairs. A year after completion, we notices the coating was bubbling and contacted them to look at. Never did address the issue.
Now after the 5 year labor warranty has expired, they will not acknowledge the many requests to address the issues and want me to pay for labor.
I have notes of over 50 phone calls that were never returned or said they would get back to me and never did. Very poor customer service.

I contacted them to get the issue resolved, and received exceptionally poor customer service from the lady who answered the phone.   She was swearing at me.

They guaranteed it to 120 miles per hour winds and when they put up the eaves, they hooked it to the roof and not the building. The whole roof came up and off and they tried to charge us again. We actually had to pay somebody else full price to replace the whole roof because they didn't attach it to the building. The roof was barely a year old. The price was between $15-20,000. The second company said they had never seen that before. They tried to charge us $1,500 to come and put a tarp over the roof after it blew off. We couldn't believe that price because it was supposed to be covered for 25 years and we had all the warranty paperwork. They said they couldn't help that the winds blew that hard. They have threatened to try to come and sue us. We didn’t like anything about them and would never use them again.

After the initial roof replacement, Five Star has warranty repaired the same roof 5 times, and it is still leaking. Each time I have had them out to warranty repair the roof, it was a battle dealing with them to get them out. Response time is terrible, phone calls are never returned, and quality of service is very poor. My last attempt was to speak to the owner, Tammy Spegal, and give her the opportunity to try to make this right. I explained to her that at this point, I would be willing to pay a $15,000 quote from another company to come in and tear off and replace the entire roof rather than to have Five Star come out again. Her response was, ?Well, that is your option?. In further conversation with her, she became very defensive saying ?I do over a million dollars worth of roofs for other customers a year, if you feel the need to go to Angies List or the BBB, go ahead. I have other customers?. The conversation ended with her hanging up on me.
