The gutter leaked from day one. I have made numerous calls with both the owner and the installer for repairs. Lots of promises, but repairs never done. Now I can not even get a return call.

The original jobs were done in a timely and professional manner. The workers did everything  we wanted. It was when we noticed warranty issues that all h*** broke loose.
We had a roof and siding done by this same company about 11-12 years ago. Soon thereafter we stated getting staining in the corners of our rooms. We contacted the company and they never would come out...always excuses. About 4 years ago I
noticed extreme frosting in the corners of my ceilings. I just thought perhaps the winds were so fierce that the insulation was blown out. The first 2 years I lived with it since I hadn't planned on painting. The third year in the middle of the winter I went up into the attic and proceeded to try to stuff insulation where the frosting was. It was on all corners of every room that faced the
North and South. This helped a little bit but the next year it was back in full force. I didn't bother my contractor Two Uncles because they have no warranty process set up. When we had our roof and siding done the first time I had fascia coming off and shingles coming up and I called and called the owner to come back and resolve it and he kept putting us off. I wrote him a letter (he has a non-working complaint email on his website) and he called me when he got the letter chewing me out for being unfair in the letter. So I took his mean response and waited and waited...and he still never came. I ended up having my
son go up there and crudely repair what would have taken their workers 15 minutes. Now to this year, we decided to completely paint our inside of the house...so we called the Two Uncle's Owner 5/29 to come here after we had several roofing contractors tell us the roof is not breathing...the opposite of what I thought. He said he'd come...two weeks go by...finally it was raining
the second week of June and he brought one of his workers to look it over. They conclude that I did the damage by stuffing insulation. Impossible. There are baffles still in place where the old vents were and it is impossible to stuff past the edge of the protruding baffle...There is NO sunlight coming in even from those points. The Owner's solution...call me every week and remind me to get over and work on it...He even kindly gave us his personal cell phone. So my wife did this often in between redecorating/vacation/weddings etc. and was met with every conceivable excuse possible. It seemed to us because this was a
warranty issue that he didn't want to pay his workers out of his pocket to fix it. Finally my wife called October 9th and he went off on her screaming and being so belligerent asking why we hadn't called his insulation guy to hire him
to put more insulation in the attic. It was so bad that she just hung up on him. Never will we recommend this unscrupulous business to anyone. Note: the techs did good work but they have no real way to implement any sort of warranty
or solution guarantees on their work. It is only lip service. Now I have to hire someone to resolve this issue before the winter sets in or be left with destroyed ceiling in my rooms. BTW, we had to apply in all of the rooms stain sealer and paint 5 coats ceiling paint to cover damage. UPDATE: I have now spent $400 to open up both sides of home to find that the foam board
underlayment had seams that we not sealed up with either Tyvek or tape. This cause the influx of air from the soffit to penetrate every open seem thus freezing my ceilings. It is now taped and sealed and fixed. No thanks to the original perpetrators of the problem.

Got a price quote from Garry (owner) which was almost $200.00 less than a previous quote so they were serious about getting the work and we thought they were pricing it right. After agreeing to the quote a date was set up (they are very busy) for the work. They arrived on time with a carpenter to do the wood work and a siding guy for the wrapping along with Garry to show them the project. They got started right away and so as not to lose time Garry actually went and picked up a bit more material needed. They work was completed in a timely fashion the guys were very good and took their time to do the work neatly and correctly as if they were working on their own homes. They finished cleaned up everything and were gone in less time than I anticipated. Would use them again for a most any building or remodeling projects.

My roof leaked into my house over the winter when we had sub-zero temperatures.  I contacted Garry at Two Uncles and he came out and swept off my roof and put some salt up there. It stopped leaking into the house after that.  As soon as it was warm enough they tore off the old roof and installed a new one. Over the winter while they were waiting for a break in the weather to do the roof, Garry contacted me to say that he found the upgraded roof shingles on sale for the same price as the cheaper shingles I originally selected and he asked if I'd like to upgrade for the same price.  I thought that was great that he did that.  They did a good job with the installing of the new roof. I have no complaints at all with the service or the work.  I would use them again.

We met with Garry in our home and went over all roofing details.  Garry was pleasant and responsive to our needs.  He laid out the entire process for us in detail and gave us a quick estimate of what we discussed within a couple of days of our meeting.  When we finally decided to use Two Uncles to do the work we contacted Garry again.  He schedules us for the end of the following week but the next day he found an opening and our roof work began just a couple of days after our contact.  Down payment for the work was minimal at $500 and Garry provided a detailed cost sheet via email.  The team was on site by 7am the day specified and worked until dark the first day.  They were short a man because of a death in the family but the guys who did work worked hard and completed most of the tear off and started the underlayment that day.  The job took about 4 days but this was mostly due to weather issues and being understaffed because of family issues.  I did not find the length of the job to be a problem and there was never a time when I did not see people working on my roof weather permitting of course.  When the job was complete Garry returned with the crew to inpect the roof and talk to us.  We pointed out a few things that might be a problem (shingle lifting up after a storm night) but Garry already noticed and had his guys working on it.  All work was complete to my satisfaction and final communication and billing was quick and painless.  All-in-all a great experience for something of this nature.  I would work with this contrator again.

Amazed.  For about $600.00 out-of-pocket Two Uncles Remodeling helped me solve my long distance roofing problem.  I'm a property owner living in Northern California and I was informed by the tenant in a single family rental home in Gary, IN that the roof was damaged by hail from two storms this past Winter/Spring.  As a member of Angie's List with a subscription location for Northwest Indiana (so I would be able to research services in the region where I own two properties) I was able to study the Angie's List reviews and able to make a prioritized list of roofing contractors that might help me solve the roof damage problem without having to come to Indiana to get a quality job done.  I called one contractor and he did not do work in Gary, IN, so I went to the next one on my list and Garry Mang of Two Uncles Remodeling called me the next day after a nice lady in his office quickly passed on my request for help to him.  Mr. Mang did not hesitate to help me even though I was in California and working with me would be extra complicated.  Within a few days, he made contact with the tenant and went out to assess the damage and provided me with an initial estimate.  I decided to make an insurance claim and informed Mr. Mang of my intent.  He volunteered to meet the insurance claim adjuster at the house to assist in any way he could.  My insurance agent was happy that Mr. Mang was involved because he said they trusted Two Uncles Remodeling.  This made me more comfortable, so when I was informed by the insurance company that  my claim was approved for funding, I hired Two Uncles Remodeling to do the job.  Communication during the job from Mr. Mang was regular and included pictures he sent to me via text before, during and after the work.  Mr. Mang also took care of submitting all necessary information directly to the insurance company for me.  He gave me the best and the most reassuring service I could have reasonably expected so I made sure to reply promptly to his phone, email and text requests for my input and I arranged to make sure he was paid quickly when the insurance company sent disbursements.

We needed to have our roofing replaced. This would require a complete tear off of the old roof and re-roofing. We also needed new soffits, gutters, downspouts, fascia, and some new roof sheathing. Our house is 52 years old and none of this had been done before. We called in Two Uncles based on the reviews here on Angie's List. Boy, are we glad we did. Garry Mang came out within a few hours to talk to us about what we wanted done and to take measurements on which to base the estimate. After we accepted the estimate it wasn't long until work began on the house.
Now, I will admit that initially I was a little concerned with whoever we'd hire to do the work. So many people in this area have complained about the work done by their roofers. There was no need to worry. The people who worked on our house were professionals. They worked hard and knew what they were doing. The quality of the material was very good. The work of the men was excellent. My husband has been heard to say that the house looks nearly new now.  I can't imagine what would have happened had we hired someone else. They say the test of a company is to ask "would you hire them again?"  My answer in the case of Two Uncles is absolutely, and without a moment's doubt.

The estimate was timely and reasonably accurate, there some were some additional materials needed. Gary actually sealed up a small whole in our roof that was causing some leakage while he was assessing the work for an estimate. We did have a slight weather delay in the schedule, but they worked on Saturday to make up the time lost.
The team was very neat and there was no debris left over.
Overall we were very pleased with their service and professional attitude. We have some small home repairs needed and we will not hesitate to include them in the bid's for this work.

They come and give you an estimate first. They stick to their estimate and do not hide anything from you. They tell everything upfront. They did everything they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. They got out of here at the time they said. I rate them high overall. I have already got a quote from them for a deck and will be using them soon.

I supplied them with water and pop everyday and they didn't do a very good job at cleaning up after themselves. Sometimes they didn't show up on time. Now I have a leak in my roof, in my chimney, and they are coming back out to fix it. They are taking longer than expected.

They were slow to begin the project. Their work seemed fine upon completion, but cleanup was poor--lots of nails and bits of debris were left everywhere. Less than one month later, a large piece of siding fell off the building. It was not due to wind. They were completely unresponsive. My phone calls escalated into letters, then the Better Business Bureau, then my attorney. Finally the piece was reattached, which they confirmed by email. I never received the courtesy of an apology. Now, some nine months after the project, two more pieces of siding lie on the ground. I dread dealing with them further!

"There are 2 sides to every story It just so happened that job was taken on after a big storm and as hard as we try sometimes service calls are answered as fast as we would like. We have a lot of customers and we strive for 100% satisfaction but as they say you please everyone all the time although we try."

One of their crew who we later believed was drunk, fell through a soft part of the roof where a raccoon nested and landed in our bathroom, tearing up the paneling and wall paper there. We were basically disgusted with the whole mess. It took them so long to put in the hardware in the bathroom that my husband and I had to wait while these large pieces were all over our room. Then, they left the linoleum sheeting in their van, during 0 degree weather, and when they finally went to put it in the floor, it cracked all over the place. I called and complained with the owner and they didn't want to pay for the floor at first, but after a long and somewhat angry discussion, finally allowed us to come to their place and pick out an upgraded linoleum floor to use free of charge. So in conclusion, I wouldn't use them again, but I would say they at least stuck by their work and in terms of quality, the outcome wasn't all that bad.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD WORKERS. THE COMPANY WAS VERY RELIABLE. THE COMPANY USED QUALITY MATERIAL. THEY QUOTED US A PRICE AND WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED WITH THE JOB THE PRICE IS WHAT THEY HAD QUOTED. I WOULD REFER THIS COMPANY.
