I've been very picky about who I allow to perform our lawn service. I feel like I've used them all.. but the owner Nick is what makes this Lawn Doctor the best. He is detail oriented and always figures out the "root" of the problem. Hands down... BEST lawn care service..

Their service is good. They come and do five fertilization's a year and I think we have had them for two years. They took over from the old guy who retired. They took over his accounts I think. It's $126 a visit and we have a very big yard, like 25,000 square feet. They have always performed. They have done what they said they were going to do and the yard looks good. The prices are reasonable. They do it cheaper than what we could do it ourselves. I never really had to have them respond because I sign up at the beginning of the year depending on what they're fertilizing for and it seems like they have done that. I have never had to call them to come out. They show up when they are supposed to at the right time of the year.?They have always been nice when I talk to them and leave a letter when they put the applications on, a call back number, and the name of the gentlemen who does the service that day. They kind of assign a person I think for our yard. You will get a fair service for a fair price. They seem to be respectful of my garden when I had a garden out there and they were careful with that. They will make notes on when they did the service or what they think might be problems with the yard and recommended services. I think they are reliable and I get a fair price on what I am getting.

Their work is fine. They're pretty responsive. There is not much that I would tell others, I mean it's pretty basic. We haven?t had an issue with our lawn since they took over taking care of it. I believe it was one person that came out. I don't interact with that person. I just think sometimes that we would rather them come out on a more regular basis. They have a scheduled time, but sometimes it seems like it's been too long since they've been here to do their job. They have us on a schedule, but we would like to see them sooner. They come out like every 3 months. They don't come out in the winter time, but Fall, Spring and Summer, they are here.

First lawn treatment and soil test was performed 4/8/17. Waiting for spring aeration, which probably should be done around May. My lawn was very stressed and had a lot of weeds, that OTC products did not get help. After just 1 treatment from Lawn Doctor, my lawn is much better. By the time the rest of the treatments are done my lawn should be perfect! You do get what you pay for!

I filled out the Online Request for a quote and response to that was very good. I was told he couldn't be here the next day, but Could be that Fri or Sat. I said "GREAT, we'll both be home both days and my husband was glad he'd get to speak with you." He pulled a NO SHOW either day. That was TWO-WEEKS-AGO!! NO phone call to say something came up nor to ask for a re-schedule. If he didn't want to travel to Valparaiso in Porter County, he should of just sid so!

They did a decent job. It was a service we had for awhile but we discontinued it. They did decent work we just didn't feel like continuing it.

Nick came out and checked the nest with me. Sprayed it a few times, then came back afterwards to reassure me the nest was dead. I was glad he let me know what was going on so I did not have to worry anymore.

Everything went smoothly. They came and gave a fair estimate for my yard and were prompt in answering and returning phone calls. The tech gave me advice on how to get rid of some stubborn grass that I was unsure as to what kind it was. They were about a week and a half out to get the aeration done but they were upfront about that. I was not here when the tech came to do the aeration but they left an accurate bill and I was able to go online and pay without any hassles. I will be having them do the aeration again and will most likely use them to fertilize and treat the lawn next year as I had already purchased the year round scotts program and wanted to use that this year.

The friendly and professional Lawn Doctor staff, did a customized analysis of our lawn and created a care plan for us. Then they came out and provided a spring weed and feed for our lawn. I had several questions regarding the health of our lawn, when to over-seed, aeration, and more. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Following the initial visit, the owner call me to discuss the quote and answer any other questions I had. He matched price on some of his competitors spring specials and explained their lawn care plan for our property.
When we received our first invoice, they included a hand written personal note, thanking us for choosing them to service our property. You just don't get this kind of customer service and appreciation very often... It's wonderful to find a local business we can rely on and trust to do what they say they will! Our lawn looks 100% better after just the initial treatment. I can't wait to see how beautiful and lush it will be at the end of the season! Thanks Lawn Doctor!

Lawn was in terrible shape, and now looks 100% better, but there are still some very stubborn weeds left to eliminate, which should be taken care of with subsequent treatments.
