Cut down our large blue spruce for an extremely fair price. Came out quickly to give an estimate and came the next day to do the job. Great!

He is thorough and really knows what he is doing. He is willing to negotiate and always cleans up after himself. He is extremely very personal and professional.

There was a squirrels' nest in a tree which overhung this property. In this area in winter, a squirrels' nest can turn into an ice ball or snowball which could drop onto someone or something. Andy's Tree Service replied to a phone call within twenty-four hours. When he learned he wasn't licensed by our town, he remedied the situation right away. About a week later, Andy removed the nest. It was a cold, rainy day, but he performed the job anyway. He even offered a discount.We would use Andy's Tree Service again.

I called Andy for an estimate. It was a little bit of phone tag there for awhile but Andy always kept in touch and came out for an estimate. I appreciated his patience as I walked him through the property with my checklist. He was very knowledgeable and made suggestions about how far to trim some of the growth. He noted that it was going to get hot and some of the work could be postponed since the plants might suffer. He gave me an estimate for the price and a possible scheduling date. My schedule got a bit hectic after that but Andy stayed in touch. I'm grateful he did because I didn't want another summer going by with the landscaping left as is. We scheduled the work for June 19th.
Andy and his two assistants showed up on time with two trucks and a chipper. He called ahead before they arrived. Andy went over the details of the work that needed to be done that day. They started the work promptly at the front of the house and made their way around the house to the back yard. It took about six hours but by the time they left, the trees and shrubs were trimmed and every scrap branch, twig, leaf was removed and taken away. They finished the cleanup with leaf blowers. Andy and I walked through the property again so I could make sure everything was done correctly. The final price was the same as the estimate price.
Friends and relatives have noted how nice the yard looks. I'm very pleased with the results and how smoothly the job went.

Andy and his co-worker got the job done right. It was quick, no-nonsense and cleaned up afterwards. Andy is very friendly, a pleasure to do business with. Price was as agreed and was reasonable for the time and effort taken.

At first, Andy and I had problems setting up a time for him to give me an estimate, and he finally just stopped over when he saw the car at home (he had left me a voicemail about it, but I hadn't gotten it yet). He was very thorough and nice about the estimate, and I was pleasantly surprised at the low estimate. He told me that we would be a "fill-in" job, so it would be any day they had time in their schedule. This was on May 28. I waited and waited, and finally, on June 28, I called and left him a message saying if he couldn't get to me before the holiday I needed to explore other options. He called right back and said they would be there on Friday. To be fair, there were three really big thunderstorms during the month of June in this area, and he apologized for the delay because they were doing a lot of storm clean-up. Andy and crew showed up on Friday, when they said they were going to, and got to work immediately. There were three guys, including Andy. Andy climbed the tree very quickly and started making cuts. Both of the ground crew pulled the ropes (to keep the branches from hitting the house) and moved the limbs into a pile. It only took about 45 minutes, and the tree looked great! They cleaned every last one of those branches and twigs off of the driveway and out of the landscaping; they even took my small pile of sticks from the last storm. The chipper did its job, and the guys continued cleanup, even leaf-blowing off the driveway to get all of the woodchips up. They were very polite and professional. They were even able to get a large branch off of a tree in the back of the property that had been dislodged during a storm. It was too heavy for me to get, but they got it right down and didn't charge me extra. There was no question about haggling over prices; Andy just said, whatever I told you as an estimate. I thought that was great. Their price was a bargain. Their service was exceptional. I would recommend (and have recommended) them to everyone. Don't be fooled by the voicemail message "tag"; just be persistent. Andy is super, and so is his crew. You would never have known they had cut approximately 20-30 branches off of my tree, since their cleanup was excellent. I am so happy we found them through Angie's List. I will be using them for all of my tree needs in the future.

The owner came out and gave me an exact price on the services I needed. He arrived as promised and exceeded my expectations of what could be done. He explained to me in detail exactly what he was going to do and whyand didn't try to upsell me.

I called Monday Morning (7-6-09) and left a message that I had some large branches overhanging my roof. I got a call back late Tuesday nite on the 7th of July from Andy and he stated he would come out to give me an estimate. It is now Sat. July 18th and I have never got a call. I would never, never do business wth a company such as this even if he called and said he would do the work for nothing.

Did an excellent job. Picked up all the cuttings and left the yard clean. In between the job when it rained heavily, he waited in his truck for more than 30 minutes and completed the job as promised the same evening.

Called about a week ago and he came the next day with estimate. Called the next Saturday and he came out Sunday while I was out. When I got home tree was gone and everything was cleaned up. Very good job.

Very professional, courteous, and responsible. The work was completed in four or five hours. I would use them again.

Andy's Tree Service has removed a tree for us before so we knew what to expect when hiring them. They do a very good job in their work. I also like the fact that they clean up well when they are finished. I have referred them to several of my neighbors.

ANDY'S TREE SERVICE IS A SMALL COMPANY THAT TACKLES BIG JOBS. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB, AND THEY CLEANED UP VIRTUALLY EVERY TWIG. I'D TELL EVERYONE TO CALL THEM.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB ON THINNING OUT THE TREE AND TAKING THE OTHER ONE DOWN. THEY CUT THE TRUNK AND LARGER BRANCHES UP IN CHUNKS AND PLACED THEM NEAR A FENCE SO THE NEIGHBOR COULD USE THEM.
