Wooden Associates Youth Outreach Program

I found the refrigerator listed on Craigslist for $375 with $25 for delivery. I called and setup delivery. The delivery man was very nice, and installed the refrigerator without a problem. He left my house saying: "If anything goes wrong, give us a call." The receipt he left with me listed a 30 day warranty (which explicitly said it did not cover food). Everything was running fine, for 28 days. On the morning of the 29th day I woke up and the refrigerator was off. I discovered the breaker had been flipped, so I reset it and the fridge came back on, but it didn't actually work. After a morning of leaving messages at Wooden Associates (I called both 317-641-4483 and 317-924-3238) I didn't have any more choice, I had to move the food in my fridge before it was lost. Several days passed, and I only received one return phone call from anyone at Wooden Associates. They wanted to know what happened, but when I asked what they were going to do, as my fridge had been covered by the warranty at the time of my initial call, they put me off and said they had to 'ask the business manager'. It was all very strange. I called daily for nearly a week, but they ignored my calls. Are the appliances they sell cheap? Yes. But they are used, and as with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Buyer beware.
