Steven Banks

Steve replaced the "Glick" Spring and did other work too. Mr Banks told me It would be a long time before he could begin repairs. He then kept the clock for a week on the wall in his shop in the fine jewelry store on SR 135 just South of County Line Rd to make sure it was working properly. It was. He called me from time-to-time to keep me informed as to my position on the waiting list.

Excellent work. Steve arrived right on time, made an effort to show me the work he would do and how my clock functioned, and completed everything within a couple of hours. I could tell he truly loves working with timepieces and that gave me a lot of confidence the job would be done correctly. Since then, the clock has worked perfectly and I plan to have Steve return in a few years for another checkup.

It went well, I have used Mr. Banks before. Quality of work is excellent.

He was very good. He was a former state policeman and he was very trustworthy in my home. He did an excellent job. Grandfather clocks are very hard to get to run and have the time correct. I had other people work on it before but never could get anybody to get it running just right. It has been right on the minute and he did a very good job. He was very polite. Overall, everything about him was very clean. I used him four or five years ago as well. He used to work for another service provider and he is on his own now and I think that they would give him great recommendations too. We never got anybody that could repair it well so it was worth whatever amount I paid him although I don't remember the exact amount. It was not a shocking price. He tried to talk us through a problem over the phone so there wasn’t a service call. He was very good. We have used him more than once.
