While taking out the old refrigerator they marred the hardwood floors of the kitchen. They also damaged the doors getting it out of the place. It took months and alternately there was a financial settlement. The ice makers was not working because the installers didn't recognize there was a plug and it took them a month to find out the problem and fix it. The person who came to estimate the floor was unprofessional. The settlement was $450 - $500. I had to do the touch up things. If I had to avoid Sears in doing business with them I probably would. They are hard to deal with for some reason.

The issue was not the gear box. I ended up purchasing a Kenmore washer through Sears. The staff is very nice and professional. They work with you and are pleasant to deal with.

It was a good experience. The salesman was a really nice guy. He made sure I had a place to sit and was comfortable. He chatted with me while I was waiting for the battery to be put in.

Drove to Greenwood from Carmel to pick up Xmas gifts..Called Sears and was able to get walk-in appointment on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Arrived at 3. Had planned on getting a new battery only but tires were also needing to be replaced. We reviewed options and manager made me a great offer on new tires with promise to get all work completed by close of business, despite not having an appointment. Work was finally completed by 8PM (Sears was not able to start my vehicle when I arrived since other customers were ahead of me). Was eble to kill time at Greenwood Mall which is next door. Managers kept me up to date and were very courteous and professional. Also observed them working with other customers, exhibiting the same positive, professional attitude...Did not try to over-sell me or others, which was an experience I had seen many times while shopping around for new tires (an expensive proposition for a Ford Expedition with 20 inch wheels). Final task was to check and perform wheel alignment, which I had been told would need to be done by others...Although I wouldnt have known the difference, Sears went through the results of check and showed me that no alignment was needed, which saved me $75. Refreshing honesty. Would be happy to make the long drive down to Greenwood again for major service (tires/battery replacement) ..

They discovered that the metal in my tire did not penetrate it, and it did not need to be repaired. They did not charge me for the inspection.
