Everything thing went very well.

I would never use him again. I've found things he did a sloppy job on, he ruined our washing machine and created a mess. He was grumpy but reasonably productive, but he's gone down hill in the 5 years since I used him last. After he left I found more things he messed up. He is a handyman and kind of does it all. He helped me to move in and install a washer and dryer. I took his word that he knew what he was doing. I asked him about bolts that I thought we were supposed to remove and he said no. We fired it up and it made funny noises, finally within the month they were out to replace the washer because it had striped out the tub because the bolts were supposed to be removed. He helped me move the fridge in. He was kind of in a hurry to get back to his house and I said shouldn't we get some card board to move across the floor and he said no. A couple weeks later there were these big deep gauges in the wood. He was in a hurry and he just wanted to go do something else. Everything he touched was just a mess, we were furious. He's pretty good for dry walling, I've used him for plumbing but I go straight to the regulars now. I'd say his plumbing is probably the weakest. He's good at putting in counters and cabinets, he can hang those pretty quickly. His electrical is weak, he even brought out a guy once when we were working on my mother-in-laws house and he was cutting corners. The other guy said what he was doing wasn't safe and we would want to fix it. There was some piece he walked off with, I hadn't decided if I wanted to keep it or not and I called him and he had it. He didn't even bring it back, I had to go over there and pick it up. His price is usually pretty good although it's gone up considerable. I kind of liked the guy, but after this last one I really didn't. He will say he is coming at 9 and then get there about 9:30 or 10, he always tries to get extra time in when he's charging hourly, like his drive home even though he lives 10 minutes away.

Used Scott in past for cabinet install, drywall, electical & plumbing - work was always rough but relatively inexpensive - Now several years later price raised from 30/hr to 45/hr and very careless - ruined new washer, floors gouged, spent 4 hours installing simple shower valve - would probably not use again. (ceiling fan was ok however)

Scott met me the day after my call (at my convenience) to look over the job and provide an estimate. That estimate turned out to be slightly higher than the final bill. The most positive part of working with Scott for the first time was his punctuality, availability and quality of work. Scott's 4-day job (original estimate) was completed in 2. I am very satisfied with the result. As far as I can tell, everything was properly covered and no hint of paint drops, etc.

They provided an estimate, honored the estimate by painting the living room and two hallways for the agreed upon price. The only hitch was one little spot where the peeling off of the tape caused a problem going around a corner. Not a big item though.

He is very reasonable, does a good job and always cleans up after himself. I will expect to continue to use him when needed.

Scott performed all duties in a timely manner, and was sensitive to our time schedule. We are both very happy with the outcome. Scott also had a sudden death in his family circle, but was still sensitive to our needs. He was communicative, and industrious, and made sure we were happy with the results before he cleaned up.

Did everything I expected.

He did all the work on time and in a professional manner. I will hire him again.

Scott and his assistant were very professional and pleasant. They were on time and I believe the price was very reasonable. I will be using them again soon when I have a few more jobs to be done.

Scott was on time. Did a great job on everything we wanted done. He is very pleasant and has a good work ethic. Scott's price was very reasonable for the work done. We expected it to be much higher.

SCOTT WAS VERY RELIABLE, STARTING WITH A VERY TIMELY CALL BACK WHEN I LEFT A MESSAGE REQUESTING AN ESTIMATE AND CONTINUING THROUGHOUT THE JOB. HE WORKED IN THE ESTIMATE AND WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE THE JOB QUICKLY, AND SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND CLEANED UP THE MESS AND TOOK IT WITH HIM AT THE END OF EACH DAY. A LOT OF THE PAINT WAS DIFFICULT TO REMOVE BUT HE STUCK WITH IT AND DID A GREAT JOB! IN FACT, WE WERE SO PLEASED WITH HIS WORK THAT HE IS DOING ANOTHER JOB FOR US THIS WEEK!

SCOTT ARRIVED IN 30 MINUTES FROM TALKING TO HIM ABOUT A WATER LEAK IN MY KITCHEN FAUCET. HE FOUND THE PROBLEM, BUT THE FAUCET NEEDED REPLACED. HE CAME BACK THE NEXT AFTERNOON, AFTER I GOT HOME FROM WORK, TO INSTALL THE NEW FAUCET I PURCHASED AFTER THE PROBLEM WAS DIAGNOSED. SCOTT DID A GREAT JOB. THE WORK LOOKS PROFESSIONAL, AS I EXPECT, AND HE CLEANS UP WELL AFTER HIMSELF.

WHEN THE WORK WAS COMPLETED, HE CLEANED UP WELL. DURING THIS PROJECT THERE WERE A FEW PROBLEMS, BUT SCOTT TOOK CARE OF THOSE THINGS AND STUCK TO HIS ESTIMATE. I REIMBURSED HIM FOR A FEW EXTRA PARTS THAT AMOUNTED TO APPROXIMATELY $30. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK, AND HE IS MOST COMPETITIVE ON PRICE. THIS WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. I COULDN'T HAVE BEEN HAPPIER WITH MY REMODELING, HAD I PAID DOUBLE FOR THE WORK. HE DOES GOOD WORK, AND DOESN'T CHARGE ''ENGINEERING'' RATES.

SCOTT HAS DONE A COUPLE OF JOBS FOR US PREVIOUSLY - THE QUALITY OF WORK HAS BEEN EXCELLENT AND THE PRICE IS VERY COMPETITIVE. FOR THIS JOB, HE WAS VERY POLITE TO MY MOM, MADE GOOD USE OF HIS TIME ON THIS JOB, AND THE QUALITY WAS GREAT. MOM WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS, AND SO WERE WE.

HE DID EVERYTHING HE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO, DID IT WELL AND DID IT FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME. HE WAS A VERY PLEASANT GUY. I GIVE HIM THE HIGHEST MARKS AVAILABLE.

SCOTT DID A GREAT JOB AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM FOR SIMILAR WORK.
