ROCK HARD ROOFING

They came out quickly and did the job. The work and the price were great, but the bookkeeping was not a great part of the job. This is a small company, and they are hands-on. Arrived right on time. It's been hard to get them to send an invoice even though they did the work right away. It's not easy to get people to come out to where we live, so I was happy with that. I would hire them in the future, but I would wait to pay them until I had a receipt in my hand.

THEY TRIED TWO TIMES TO REPAIR THE LEAKS AND WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. I HAVE CALLED THEM MANY TIMES ASKING THEM TO RETURN TO FIND THE LEAKS AND THEY HAVE NOT RETURNED PHONE CALLS OR COME TO MY HOME AS REQUESTED, I NOW HAVE EXTENSIVE WATER DAMAGE AND WILL BE SEAKING THE HELP OF ANOTHER COMPANY.

CHRIS WAS VERY PUNCTUAL. HE CAME OUT FOR THE ESTIMATE ON TIME, AND PAUL AND HIS CREW WERE ON TIME FOR THE START OF WORK. HIS FIRST BID WAS TOO HIGH, BUT WE NEGOTIATED A REASONABLE PRICE. THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE IS THAT EVERYWHERE THEY SPREAD OUT A TARP TO COLLECT THE TORN OFF MATERIALS, THE GRASS WAS TURNED BROWN, DUE TO THE SUN AND HEAT. HE EXPLAINED THAT THERE WAS NO WAY TO PREVENT IT. I HAVE TO THINK THERE IS SOME OTHER WAY. THE CLEAN UP OF THE YARD AFTERWARDS WAS NOT 100%, BUT OK THOUGH. I AM STILL WAITING ON A COPY OF THE LABOR AND MATERIALS WARRANTY.

The work was completed and paid for on May 28th. The following weekend, my husband replaced a small gutter on the front porch roof. We discovered that they had not cleaned the gutters as was agreed to on the contract. We also discovered numerous roofing nails in the grass and on the driveway, so they also didn't use their magnets as agreed to on the contract. I called on Monday, June 6th, and told Chris they had not cleaned the gutters as promised. He said they would be out that week. No one showed up. I gave them another week and called Chris again on June 17th. He said they would be out "tomorrow." He mentioned that they were really busy, which I am sure they were, but I just wanted them to fulfill the contract for which they had been paid. Once again, no one showed up. After I lodged a complaint with the local Angie's List office, someone finally came out on June 25th. They left all the gutter debris in the driveway. In picking it up we found numerous nails and pieces of shingle.

I CALLED TWO COMPANIES. THE OTHER QUOTED ME OVER $2,000 FOR THE SAME REPAIR. INITIALLY CHRIS DID NOT RETURN MY CALL, WHEN HE FINALLY DID I TOLD HIM THAT I EXPECTED MORE RESPONSIVE BEHAVIOR FROM PEOPLE I HIRE. HE GAVE ME A $30 PRICE BREAK AND APOLOGIZED. HE AND HIS STAFF WORKED QUICKLY AND REPAIRED THE ROOF. THUS FAR THERE HAVE BEEN NO PROBLEMS. HE ALSO OFFERED ME A $100 FINDERS FEE FOR FUTURE BUSINESS REFERRED TO HIM. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIS COMPANY - EVEN WITHOUT THE FINDERS FEE.

JOB COMPLETED QUICKLY TO & CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME. VERY SATISFIED.

NICE WORK, QUICK, AND THE COST WAS ABOUT $1,000 LESS THAN OTHER LOCAL COMPANIES. INCLUDE THEM IN YOUR CALL FOR ESTIMATES.

VERY PROMPT FOR ESTIMATE. DID THE WORK WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND CLEANED UP PROPERLY. HARD WORKERS, I WAS VERY PLEASED. DID AN EXCELLENT JOB BOTH TIMES.
