I have personally purchased multiple vehicles. I have never experienced the quality of service from the beginning of the process with the original sales guy Derek and his Manger which were both phenomenal to work with. The finance manager Derek Day was also an incredible individual who was able to help with the financing of the vehicle. The process was incredibly seamless, easy, and absolutely no pressure at all. I can't speak enough about Ray Skillman and what he has done as far as the training for his employees. Thanks again and I will be purchasing my next vehicle from Ray Skillman!!! If there was any grade above an A+ ,they deserve it.

When I called to let them know I was on my way in and was told that I did not have an appointment with them. They told me to go ahead and come in and they would take care of my car. I arrived and went to the customer lounge. When they paged me, I found out that the noise I was hearing was related to the air conditioner compressor was bad and needed replaced. I was surprised since my air conditioning was working fine. My Ford Fusion was under warranty, so my only dilemma was being a single parent and having to leave my car with them since they had to get the part in the next day. I was quickly assured that they will arrange a rental car for me. I was picked up by Enterprise and my car worry was over. I returned the next day to pick up my car and even though the noise is still there, everything seems to be fine. I would use them again in the future.

It was definitely a rough start. I dropped my car off on Saturday, and I only picked this place because it was closest to my house and I was scared to drive my car. The guy who helped me was ok, not overly nice/not rude. Mike, who helped me on Monday via phone, was very rude however. I really hope that they don't use him regularly for customer service. He said "Listen, lady, do you want me to do your brakes or not?" when I asked if they had an Angie's List discount. I left a complaint with the cashier, who was very sweet/helpful, and ended up speaking with the manager, Miles today. He made me feel better about the whole situation, and extended an invitation to use the free car wash anytime I needed and to stop in and introduce myself. Super nice guy. I'll be using this provider again if I get to deal with Miles, absolutely. Professionalis was average because Mike was definitely an F. Miles and the cashier really helped bring it back up to a C because they were both A's.

The same warning light came on again 3 months later we brought the truck back to them and they said we needed new brake pads and the rotors turned (with no mention of the now louder steering wheel sound) and charged us $110 for the "diagnostic" as it wasn't covered under warranty. We are not able to do all of that right now so we took it home and decided to take it to our mechanic since it wasn't a warranty item. Our mechanic told us the brake pads had 50% of their life left and the rotors were fine. Our brake fluid was low and looked like it was original and needed to be flushed AND THAT WAS IT! Also he noticed there was a sound coming out of our steering wheel and he checked and the fluid was low but there was no leaks so he topped it off and the sound went away! It cost less for him to repair both problems ($97) than Skillman charged us for the "diagnostic". We will not go back to Ray Skillman Ford for any work on our car.

In Dec of 2012, we went to Ray Skillman automall and purchased 2 vehicles. The first vehicle is a 2008 Gmc Yukon Denali. We were given a booklet on thd truck. The booklet contained the carfax and a sheet/page that said the vehicle was free from all defects. Two days after purchasing the vehicle my wife noticed a thumping noise coming from under the vehicle. She took it back to have it looked at at the dealership. The service deptment said it was a bad bushing on one of thestruts. The quote was $140 for the repair. My wife was in a hurry as she was scheduled to leave for florida and christmas vacation in a day or so.
On the way to florida the thumping returned and became worse. She took the vehicle to a Gmc dealership to see what was wrong. The florida dealership said that all the front struts were bad and needed replaced. The quote was $1300.00 After she got back she took the vehicle into Skillman, who confirmed what the other dealership said but SKILLMAN REFUSED TO REPAI THE VEHICLE. Yes we bought the vehicle As Is, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS PRESENTED TO US AS IS MEANING IT WAS FREE OF DEFECT. AS of this writting the problem has NOT been resolved satisfactorily. I DO NOT RECMEND BUYING ANY VEHICLE FROM A SKILLMAN OWNED DEALERSHIP

I went to Ray Skillman to do some research on replacing my 2003 Ford Focus. The salesman, Kevin Miller, quickly greeted us and asked what we were looking for. I explained that I was interested in looking at the Focuses on the lot. We started with the new cars and worked our way over to the used car section. Kevin was very helpful and answered all of our questions, without being pushy. I found a car that I was interested in and we took it for a test drive. While I hadn't intended on purchasing a car that day, the price was too good to pass up. The financing was hassle-free and I was able to drive my "new car" home that day.
The entire staff at Ray Skillman was friendly and helpful. They made me feel as though I was the only customer there, which wasn't the case. Kevin introduced me to the general manager of the lot, who also thanked me for my purchase. But the service didn't stop there. Kevin called a couple of days later to see how I was enjoying my new car. He even helped me set up the Sync system before I left the dealership. I would recommend Ray Skillman to anyone who was looking to purchase a car.

I bought 3 cars from Ray Skillman over the last 10 years. My dad bought a car there because of me and so did my brother. We wont even talk about my brothers truck and all the problems he went through with it. I always worked with John Trichler and he was the best sales person to work with. John did a great job, but my major issue came from Bill Skillman himself. I bought a 2005 Acura used from them. There was an issue with getting the car from another lot and Bill did take care of getting me the car. I left because I was told that they were holding it for the GM of the other lots friend. I then went to the Acura Dealership looking at the same car. It was nearly the same mileage but everything else was the same and they offered to get me a warranty to 100k miles. I got a call from John Trishler saying Bill was fixing the issue and since I had bought 2 other cars from John, I left and went the next morning to see Bill and John. They had the car at the dealership and Bill appolgized for the issues but said he would make it good for me. There was a close to 27k miles on the car when we bought it. For the issues that I had Bill sold me an additional 75k mile warranty for a great price. He told me that would get me get to a little over 100k for any issues. Well there was a warranty with Acura until 50k anyway so I thought it was a great idea because I bought it on the last 2 cars I bought from them. AT 78K miles my A/C went out so I went to have it fixed (they always sent me to Acura because they couldnt work on the Acura there and its across the street). I go over there to find out that they sold me the 75k mile TOTAL WARRANTY. There for it was over at 75k miles not 103k miles that Bill told me it would be. I went back and forth with the dealership and was told Bill would talk to me in person. Bill had me come in one day to talk to him when he wasnt busy but then he had me wait for him for nearly 25 minutes.
This issue was resolved about 4 months ago by John Trishler who is my original sale person that is now a manager with the dealership. He worked through the issue and I will make sure my next car comes from Ray Skillman.
