PONDER TREE SERVICE

Excellent! Mr. Ponder and his crew were very professional and friendly. They were prompt and pleasant, did an excellent job and did a marvelous cleanup when done. They exceeded my expectations.

Approached the owner while they were doing an insurance job in the neighborhood. As soon as they had that job completed they started mine. Did excellent work on my Bradford Pear. Cleaned up the entire mess. Extremely reasonable price compared to other estimates. Highly recommended!

There were two trees. One was very large, and one was very moderate. One was a pine tree and I am not sure what they other one was. They didn't pickup very well after themselves. I talked to them and complained about it. They offered to pay me back some, and to give me a refund. I didn't have a clue how to do that because some of the stuff in the yard they left, and other stuff probably fell out of the tree after they left. It was hard to judge just how much of the stuff was there they left after cutting down the tree versus how much came down on it's own, because I go out there and pickup stuff and I look out the window and there's another branch there. There was some stuff in the yard. There were chips from the chipper and I didn't know why they didn't get it picked up. I didn't think that it came down afterwards. I thought they should've raked things up. I noticed that they trimmed the trees for our neighbors across the street, and when I got home they were out there raking stuff to get it out. So I don't know if they had a crew that was kind of lazy and didn't do a good job, or else some of the stuff came down afterwards. There was a tangerine peel that I know didn't blow into the yard. I thought that had to have been here from when they trimmed it unless one of our neighbor's kids was out here eating a tangerine and left it. I can't imagine them doing that. They did offer a refund and I was so ticked off at them. My wife called them about trimming the bushes and the price they gave us, I would do it myself. I wasn't real happy with their price to put it lightly. They were here the day they said they were suppose to be. The tree looks nice. They did a good job on that. I just wasn't thrilled about how they cleaned up afterwards and what they left in the yard. They did offer me a refund for the three days I spent picking stuff up afterwards, but I think some of it came down after they left.

Called at 9am they were there that afternoon. They did an excellent job at what I felt was a good price. I'Ve added Ponder Tree Service to my address book and will call them next time I need help with my trees.

Smooth.  Even removed a large brush pile on the property. Cleaned up really well.
Limbs were not cut off exactly where we'd discussed, but close enough, and I appreciate the difficulty of remembering 2 wks later since high branches cannot be marked and I was unable to be there the day off the work. 
Have vet already scheduled them for a much larger job in the spring, on a different property.

Estimate from provider was well under what other quotes were and he was there promptly when he said he would be, was very professional and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.  I would highly recommend this company.

Great job! Every part of the job was great. The people were very friendly, honest, and hard working. They could not not have done anything better. You cannot tell there was ever a tree in the yard. We have not had a better service or repair by anyone in any business.

Went fine.  He is busy so getting an estimate can take a while and getting he there to do the work can take some time.  However, I was very pleased with the results.  Also, there really clean up after themselves.

My across the street neighbor had used this service for the last 10 years for tree trimming and the results were very impressive. He had his trees trimmed again this year and the results looked pretty good. The neighbor next door used them the next day and the results again looked pretty impressive. I went over and got a quote from Robert (owner) and he said they could come out the next day ( a Saturday). They showed up about 10 AM and began trimming. It was snowing with a wind chill about 15 degrees, but they kept on going, with no breaks. Robert, his son-in-law, and his nephew kept on going until the branches were down. Robert had to go and empty the chipper truck because it was at capacity. Rather than wait until the following day, they waited until the truck returned to resume chipping. Additionally, Robert and I agreed for an additional $50 to remove a couple of branches from my back yard that were leaning on my electric wires to the house. The electric company's contractor (submit curse words here) had come through a couple weeks ago to the clear the branches in the right-of-way but somehow avoided the branches on top of my line leading to the house. Robert and his crew removed three branches that were hanging down on my line. They were meticulous in their work and left the yard in a better position then they found it. They are more expensive than alot of competitors but in this case you get what you pay for

They did a good job, cleaned up very nicely and put things back where they were. They were also very courteous.

They were very good. They cleaned up after themselves. We thought their prices were extremely low. They come out and tell you what you need to have done, and the price depends on that.

The work was done when we were not home, but they did exactly what we wanted. They left the area very neat, it looks great! Their price was lower than other estimates.

Robert Ponder is a good Christian man who takes pride in his work. He and his crew did the work in such a way that you could never tell they were here.

After a storm, I had a number of very large limbs down from a huge tree. There were many additional broken limbs caught in the large tree ready to fall. The damage was so extensive that the entire tree needed to be trimmed back. It would have looked very odd once the damage was removed and the remaining limbs would be too vulnerable to storm damage. All limbs down and broken were removed. Then the large tree was carefully trimmed. The work was perfect and you could not tell they had been there when they left -- it was so clean. They also trimmed back lower limbs from another tree which hid the street light.

Mr. Ponder and his crew did a lovely job of trimming and shaping our tree. It really looks good!

The tree removal was fine but when we he removed the stump he cut some underground wiring. He left the repairs up to me. He didn't provide a written invoice.

GREAT PRICE AND THEY DO A GREAT JOB. THEY CLEANED UP THE MESS; THERE WASN'T A TWIG LEFT. THEY ARE SLOW AT RETURNING PHONE CALLS HOWEVER.
