They are amazing. Extremely friendly staff, and wonderful prices. I had a watch that needed to  be sized and another that needed a battery. Both were done while I waited in the store, and for the price I would expect to pay for ONE service elsewhere. I will use them often.

I went to get a new watch battery and to see about getting some old earrings changed from un-pierced earrings to pierced.  The lady was very friendly and told me that because of the material the earrings were made of, they would have to send them offsite to do it.  She gave me a ballpark figure.  That was very helpful for me and I appreciated her honesty very much.  
Also, I wanted a watch battery for my old watch.  They immediately fixed that and I ended up shopping for a new watch as well.  I have been looking for a certain style of watch for quite a long time and they actually had the exact kind I was looking for!  I got it for under $200 which was better than any price I'd seen anywhere else.  She actually gave me a discount I didn't even ask for.  I greatly appreciated the friendliness and the professional manner in which they work.  I will definitely use them again and refer anyone who asks me to them.

Very well. Friendly, professional people. Great place to get any watch battery replaced for a reasonable price. While we were there they looked at some old jewelry we brought in and ended up buying a few pieces. We have gone there for different reasons over the past several years and they always make us feel welcome and never pressured.

They did a good job. They didn't switch the stone with something else. They did the work quickly while I waited. They did a fine job.

Most recently McGee's replaced my watch battery, cleaned my bridal set and we purchased diamond earrings. As soon as we walk in the door we are welcomed, they have the best customer service. McGee's may cost more than the run of the mill mall jewelry store, but I know I am getting the highest quality products and service.

I walked in there and I did not wait there at all. They took my watch and did the job in less than 10 minutes.

My mother and I had several pieces of jewelry as well as a couple of old watches. McGee's is an established jewelry store in the Greenwood area; they've been advertising recently that they now buy gold and silver. We went to McGee's for appraisal on the jewelry/watches and based on the appraisal we sold the pieces to McGee. A couple of the pieces were for 'scrap gold' only; other pieces were for resale as 'estate jewelry'. We had very good service from 2 ladies in the store; the prices they paid for the jewelry were very fair. There are many storefront 'we buy gold/silver' places these days - I've seen one recently in a storage shed. We wanted to go somewhere reputable that would also look at the jewelry. We're very pleased with our experience at McGee's. We would consider going there for jewelry purchase in the future.

It did not go well. I brought the ring in to the store because the center stone seemed to be loose. The associate I dealt with confirmed that one of the prongs was worn down and would need to be reinforced. We specified on the repair ticket that the unique style of the prong should be matched and I left the ring for repair. When I inspected the ring after the repair, the diamond may have been secured, but it was obvious which prong had been "repaired." The jeweler put a blob of additional metal on top of the existing prong, making a raised dome on what had been a flat prong. No attempt had been made to even come close to the style of the other 3 prongs. The repair was not what was requested so I asked to have the jeweler at least make an attempt at making the repaired prong look like the original. When I received the ring after the second attempt at the repair, I was extremely disappointed. The blob had been ground down, no attempt to match the style had been made and it now looked like the repair had been made in yellow instead of white gold. Again I shared my disappointment, but I didn't care to give them a third chance. I took my ring with me and wasn't charged for the repair.

I am very pleased with the quality of service. I was very pleased with the originality of the design. They are very friendly. Once you have been to McGee, they will remember your face and welcome you back like an old friend.

The diamond fell out of my engagement ring and I took it to McGee's to be repaired. They were very friendly and did the job very quickly. I picked up my ring in about three days. Carolyn assisted me, and she was friendly without being pushy. I decided to have my ring placed back in the same band and the cost was very reasonable.

Beautiful. They are real artisans at McGee's.

Dennis Allen always is helpful with any of our needs/wants. Carol-Sue is another great person to work with. I purchased our engagement rings from her over 11 years ago. She is still there (she has the prettiest ring on her finger). This jewelery store makes you feel like family. It is one of the few family owned and operated still left in the world today.
