Kleaning by Design

We absolutely loved Kandy.  Felt she was part of the family.  All of a sudden, we never heard from her.  Made numerous attempts to contact her (voice mails; text messages); however, we never received a response.  If Kandy was not happy, we would have appreciated some type of resignation, or notice.  Back to my search for another housekeeper.

We contacted Anigi's List for an estimate of cost for a top to bottom cleaning of an empty 2 story house with very short notice to complete the job. She responded very quickly and was very well priced compared to some other quotes we received, considering it was an empty house. When she showed up she was professional and brought all the required implements, cleaning supplies, and trash bags. She was very friendly. She came late in the afternoon (as requested) and was here for several hours. We did a quick walk through together to familiarize herself with the house and set expectations. She had the empty house to herself without any interference. Once she was done, we did a walk through together for inspection. There was one minor miss, some sawdust was over looked in the back of a bathroom drawer, she was quick to respond by cleaning it up right away. My wife is very picky and stated  she would definitely hire her again if needed since she did a very good job. It took about 4 hours.

I wish I would have found her at least a year ago. She has cleaned our house once and has done a better job than the other people have done in six months!

I pointed out what i would like to see done and she did that plus took an initiative offering her assistance in other areas of my home for cleaning. I really liked how helpful she was and enjoyed her personality and professionalism.

Kandy has been cleaning my home for over a year.  I am very picky when it comes to my home, so having found Kandy was truly wonderful.  She spends the time to do a good job and doesn't rush through like some other services I used in the past.  She is like part of our family now. Kandy is top-notch, very reasonably priced, responsible, hard-working, thorough, and professional.  I noticed another reviewer who was angry because Kandy didn't respond to her call.  I know that Kandy's phone was stolen, so that may be the reason.
I think Kandy is the 4th or 5th housekeeping service I tried until I was totally satisfied.  The other services do not measure up...believe me, I've tried many of them. The others all start off with a bang, but eventually they get lazy and begin to under-perform.  That has never been the case with Kandy. I highly recommend Kandy if you want high quality, like I do.

They did a good job. They were thorough.

Kandy is a little high priced but she is prompt and does an excellent job. She has a problem with a lost phone but she we finally reconnected and she has scheduled monthly cleaning. She is prompt and she cleans thoroughly when she comes. She does not do laundry but she washes dishes and cleans all surfaces in all the rooms. If you want to add some areas not normally, she will do it and she will also do minor installations. I needed a new shower head and shower rod replaced and she did a great job on that. She is kind and non judgmental.

    Kandy was prompt and good but in the last month I cannot get her to return my emails or phone calls.  Don't know what has happened to her.

Overall okay but pricey for me based on previous cleaning person who also washed rugs and linens, did dishes and washed other clothes.  Also, Kleaning by Design used a steam cleaner on my laminate floors and I did not care for that.  Otherwise she did fine.

She has keys to my house because I think she is reliable and honest.  She comes every two weeks.  We set a schedule, she is always here, and she'll come extra when I call her.

I have high standards and Kandy meets or exceeds all my expectations. She is thorough, conscientious, and committed. Unlike other cleaning services I have hired, Kandy provides the most thorough and professional service. I highly recommend her over any other of the services out there ... and believe me, I've tried several of them and they all left me disappointed.  Kandy Hood is outstanding.  She also went the extra mile to have her insurance company email her documents proving her insurance and bonding.  Take my word, you will love working with Kandy.  She's absolutely THE BEST in the business.

This was for a whole housecleaning.  Kandy is very punctual and very good.  She does a very good job and I have continued to use her everyother week.

They were very professional and nice.  They worked the whole time they were here.  It was just two people and they did a wonderful job.  I would recommend them to anyone.

Kandi, the owner was/is absolutely wonderful.  She did everything she promised and more.  I am very particular and was surprised to find everything cleaned the way I would have cleaned it myself.  I would highly recommend her company/service to anyone.

It went very well..and (well) being an understatement,  when we arrived home, we thought we were in the wrong house, everything was so clean!  The garage was fantastic, they even setup the tables. These ladies are fantastic.. very very detailed. We defiantly got more than our moneys worth!  We have asked them to come every 2 weeks to clean.  I'm recommending them to everyone we know! Hire this company you will not be disappointed.

Kandy and Kristi cleaned our house for about 1 month. Kristi called two weeks ago to advise she and Kandy were splitting up the business and she would come clean the house with her cousin the next day. We were not comfortable with this and told Kristi we would prefer to talk to Kandy before making any changes to the original agreement. Kristi provided a phone number to contact Kandy and we have been trying to reach her for the last two weeks. We have also left voicemails for Kristi and no one has returned any of our calls or emails. At this point we would just like to have our house key returned. It's disappointing because they did a good job at a very reasonable price.

see above: i may not move now that my house is so clean. the txt from my wife was "uh, ya...good is an understatement". they were super nice and nice to our two dogs and two cats. and they changed the sheets on the bed. it is like coming home to a hotel.

Contractor made an appointment and then called a few days before to reschedule. Everything was done well.

They did a good job in a timely fashion. They did everything that we asked them to do. They also found some other things they could do. The price was reasonable. They were friendly and respectful.

Kandy & Kristi are ABSOLUTELY wonderful. We hired them to trash out 3 units, General cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, winterization, Lock change, replaced all interior doors in two units, and some drywall repair... to be honest when we hired them I really didn't feel that two women could handel the task but.... WOW I'm glad they proved me wrong. We would Highly recommend them if your looking to get the Job done right and very fair on prices, We will be using there services again A+ RATING

Great job on thorough cleaning of my home. My house has never looked so good! I am beginning bi-monthly service with Krystal Klean next week. They do an awesome job and I feel so comfortable with them in my home.

Krystal and Kandi are very professional and easy to work with. They did a thorough job and I would definitly recommend their services and will be using them at my own home sometime in the near future.

I am pleased enough with their performance to have them continue to clean for me every two weeks.
