This company came to my door with a promotional free carpet cleaning. A woman persuaded me to give it a try, that it was free and no hassle for me. When I agreed, she called the company to come out right then for the free carpet cleaning. She gave me the impression that this whole process would not take up much of my time, which I was worried about since I was home alone with my two young children and it was dinner time.
Two men arrived, gave me a bit of a sales pitch, then one of the men left and the other stayed to do the cleaning. With the free cleaning came a demo of their Kirby vacuum/carpet cleaning prodcut. The salesman took a really long time with this demo - in fact, I stopped him after 45 minutes of talking. He also included unneccsary information/stories about previous clients, his beliefs on alcohol and tattoos, etc. Very unprofessional and inappropriate. When he finally got to the free cleaning, he had barely vacuumed the room after 30 minutes and I asked him to leave. He did not even get to the carpet shampoo because I was afraid he'd have been at my house until 8:30pm! When he called his boss to pick him up, it took another 20 minutes between waiting on his ride and packing up all of the vacuum equipment. This whole experience was a huge waste of my time.

Gilbert was VERY unprofessional and was telling crude stories frequently using very explicit language. He was asked to leave at 4:30 PM because we needed to feed the baby and get supper started. He didn't even try to start packing up to leave. He kept calling his "boss" on his cell phone and then trying to get us to buy the Kirby vacuum for a "better deal." I told him two more times (around 6:00 PM), rather assertively, to pack his things and leave NOW. He was still dragging his feet, so I had an officer order him to leave within 5 minutes unless he wanted to be escorted out. He finally took us seriously and his boss came in to help him get his equipment out. I told them to hurry up because it was already 4 hours that they wasted our time. After locking the door behind them, I saw them standing on the street corner with their equipment. Look out, neighbors!
