david does good work. yet i had to babysit the job to avoid potential mishaps. would have liked to have someone here 8am-4pm everyday and wrap it up in less time than spreadiing it out a couple hours a day. to have rated it an "A" , i would have needed not to babysit, had all the job drawn out with EXACT measurements BEFORE job started (so we didn't have to weekly rediscuss what i wanted)), and not had to revisit issues thruout the project. personally, i realize that i prefer a remodel "company" that has all the brochures and contacts for hardware, cabinetry, etc.

The owner and his crew were very conscientious and meticulous, both in the painting and cleanup operations. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

We were very pleased with Homespun Home Improvements Company. The actual bill was right on the estimate. They also did some extra tings that they didn't charge for. I was very pleased with them doing that. Everything they did was excellent. They came in and firstly laid down drop cloths, not only where they were working but also anywhere they would be walking to avoid any stains or dirt. The workers were very professional. They did an excellent job. They were al very clean. They were nice people. It was a pleasure to have them in the house. I would use them again in the future if required.

He has been working for me for about 20 years. He is like our handyman. He is very neat, he does good work, and he is very reliable. I would recommend him.

Fantastic job! David and his crew have done painting and other work in nearly every room of my home. I originally called him for an estimate on interior painting, but during our first appointment it became clear that he was capable of doing almost all of the other interior work that I was interested in having done, saving me from hiring separate contractors for each task. He is happy to answer questions as you go along - you know how one thing leads to another when you start any home project. I needed to split the work over a few months as I got the money to continue, so we have split the work into 3 sessions so far. All of the work has been done impeccably and in the time period he projected. They clean up well at the end of each work day. He does not email, but he answers cell calls and returns your call quickly if he misses it. Estimates are accurate. Unless he is away buying supplies, David has been personally on site during all the work. His crew members are very pleasant and I trust them to be in my home. He still has a key to my home with an alarm code because he will be doing more work for me in the coming weeks. That shows the level of trust David Holsapple has earned here over the past few months. I highly recommend Homespun Home Improvements!

It was an excellent experience. David was strongly recommended by our interior designer and we could not agree more. David was able to take on our time-sensitive painting project (2 week turn around before move-in date!) The paint jobs came out beautifully. David also did this all while working within our budget, answering all of our questions and providing professional advice on what our new home could use now and what we could wait on. For example, we really hated the old-fashioned lighting in our kitchen so David suggested canned lights. He recommended installation before the painting was completed in the kitchen to avoid an additional cost in the future. David was able to take care of this for us without bringing in another contractor at additional costs. Needless to say, this small change made a world of difference in upgrading our kitchen. Thanks David! It is so refreshing to know there are still professionals like David Holsapple who are more interested in your happiness as a customer than their profit margin. We're really looking forward to working with David again on some long-term projects: exterior painting of our home and remodel of our master bedroom. We would not hesitate in strongly recommending David and Homespun Home Improvements to anyone.

It was good.

Very consciensious crew, provided quality work. Was able to schedule us in quickly. Dave (the owner) is responsive and approachable, and is present for much of the work. When his crew on day one started to apply the wrong color paint (due to error at paint store), and I called Dave that night to let him know, he was very responsive about it. There was no defensiveness whatsoever and the error was immediately corrected the next day. I would highly recommend them. I can't comment on the price as I didn't compare with anyone else.

He does outstanding work, is very easy to work with, and very personable. His estimate was much more affordable for us than previous estimates we received from other companies. He is a great guy. I will be using him again and would highly recommend him.

Pressed for time we decided to have someone paint the nursery for us. I was referred to David by our decorator and he had also received glowing reviews on Angie's List. David was on vacation when I called but he still picked up the phone and arrived the next week as scheduled to provide an estimate. We had not originally budgeted for this work and given we do plan to have the remainder of the interior painted, David worked with me on the price. Due to our close proximity to another job David and one of his crew were able to start the next day. We had already purchased the paint and primed the walls but the walls needed some work (cracks along with the usual wear and tear a 20 year old house endures). The first day they spent a few hours working on patching the walls and painting the trim in addition to the ceiling. They returned the next day to sand and paint the walls as well as the doors. Before leaving on each day they ensured that any mess was cleaned up. The walls look beautiful and they have perfect clean lines! David and his crew were always on time, courteous, professional and detail oriented.

Excellent service and experience. We were lucky in that when we called they had just completed an interior job and were available to take on our job right away. David Holsapple was very professional and responsive and his company did an excellent job of both removing the old wallpaper, cleaning the walls and painting.

Company made repairs on the walls before painting them. They covered the furniture for protection, and moved furniture to the center of the room and covered it where necessary. The paint job turned out perfectly and no paint drips or spills anywhere in the house. Company owner and employees were polite, and they left the house in perfect order when they left.

I thought he was good enough to bring him back for some additional painting that some others had not done properly. He handled it and corrected it.

I called him for and estimate, which he gave me in a timely matter. He was able to rearrange his schedule so he had three day he could do the work the next week. When I asked if he could do extra jobs he had the carpenter come out and do one and he did the other. I was very happy with the work and the way he cleaned up when he left. I would certainly have him back.

He did an excellent job. He was prompt and very polite. I paid him by the hour because of the little jobs. I found him through my decorator.
