Really, really well. He called me back right away, came out and gave me a quote, was running a few minutes late, but called prior to the appointment to let me know he was running a few min late. He was very, very thorough, cleaned everything up, put everything back where it was, added some barriers to help keep it all in, etc. Went above and beyond. Would highly recommend.

We have been remodeling these past few months and this is one of the four times we have used Gibbons Insulation to work on our home. We have always found the prices fair and the work excellent.  Paul Gibbons worked with me, taking into consideration cost and effectiveness of each type of insulation for the job. Paul is the owner and we feel it is a big upside working directly with him. We understand they are busy but have met all our deadlines. We know there are going to be more projects and we'll be using Gibbons to insulate them.

I can't say enough good about my experience.   We just purchased our house (which was built in 1920).   As part of the purchase we are overhauling the electrical.   The electrician told us we'd need insulation removed so he could access wiring in attic.   In a panic to get it done, I called a couple #'s from angles list - I wasn't getting quick responses.  My electrician said his neighbor (Paul Gibbons) does insulation, and while he can't speak to his work, he's a nice guy.  
I called Paul on Monday this week, one of his sons was at our house on Tuesday to give an estimate, and they were extremely generous with scheduling and squeezed us in for Thursday of that same week to remove insulation.   
He arrived exactly when he said he would, the job took a little longer than initially quoted because they found more layers of insulation at various parts of the attic.  I admire his honesty because I even asked towards the end if he underquoted me (it is an "estimate" afterall, so perhaps it should cost more).   He said it was fine, it was his error to have missed the extra insulation from the initial quote.  
Perhaps most exciting .... they did a great job cleaning up!   They hauled all the insulation, there isn't a speak of it on the front lawn (where they stacked as they worked), and my wood+carpet runner steps are cleaner now than before than came!  (their vacuum got dog hair I don't think mine would have!)  :-)

Paul & his team did an excellent job. The guys even helped us move all of our junk out of the building, was a lot of heavy material. Paul is a super busy guy, so it's hard to reach him, but you can be assured the job will be done very well and once you get on the schedule, they work really fast.

Upon arrival, Paul's team found work that was improperly applied, coupled with poor quality workmanship performed by TS. Luckily, the Gibbins team accepted the challenge and took immediate action to correct the problems created by TS. Outstanding, quality results with true professionals leading the charge!! Gibbons worked with another contractor that was replacing our roof.  We needed to have more insulation due to adding a second story in what used to be attic space.  They made themselves available to work when the roofers would have the roof off.  They were also VERY reasonably priced compared to the other quotes we had gotten.  We are very happy with the quality of work and willingness to work with our schedule.

Paul immediately struck me as a honest, decent guy, who knew his stuff ,and he proved me right. He did a thorough job of showing me where insulation needed to be added, explaining how he'd do it and using plenty of materials (and I believe the job required more than he had estimated, but he didn't charge me a penny over the original estimate). The cleanup was meticulous.
Further, when I had a water leak problem several months later, Paul came right out, no questions asked and no defensiveness about how it couldn't be his work causing the problem. That turned out to be true (I had a small under-cabinet water heater that had been leaking for some time), and Paul stayed for more than two hours to help me remove it, take out parts of the cabinet (and his insulation work) and clean the mold. His positive attitude and willingness to ensure that it wasn't a result of the siding removal or other insulation-related work almost made it fun to tear apart a kitchen cabinet. But now he and I both have peace of mind that the problem is solved.
I'd highly recommend Gibbons Extreme Insulation. He's often busy and it may require a couple of phone calls to connect with him, but it's totally worth it. The crew's knowledge of insulation and experience in installation, as well as their attention to detail (making sure the job is done right and cleaning up behind themselves) is outstanding.

Gibbons Extreme Insulation is true to their name; they're a family-owned and operated business and they insulate to the extreme. As other reviewers stated, they are hard to get on the phone. As the owner explained to me, they insulate houses 6 days a week. They discovered several issues on the day of the job and addressed all issues thoroughly. The owner was on the job (with 2 others) and he took the time to explain everything they were doing. He takes pride in his work and it shows. They were careful to cover everything from the entrance to the attic access area with tarps and vacuumed the area thoroughly when they were done. We are thrilled with the results! Our house is much more comfortable and we expect to use our A/C much less often this summer.

Gibbons extreme insulation bends over backwards for customer satisfaction (blew in at least R44 but only charged me for R40). They worked around my schedule and were very friendly and professional. They did what they said they would do and more (filled in gaps with spray foam and repaired the screens in my gable vents). I would definitely recommend Gibbons and will use them in the future to insulate my walls.

We called out Gibbons for an estimate because we were having condensation issues on the ceiling and walls on the west side of our house during this cold weather. Jake came out and assessed our insulation needs. He gave us an estimate and we chose him to do the work. He and his crew were on time and went out of their way to keep my house as clean as possible by putting down drop cloths and plastic wherever they were working. They were all very polite and courteous and they vacuumed after they were done. Jake and his crew did an excellent job and I would hire them again!

I am very satisfied with the job that Paul Gibbons and company did for me.  After getting multiple quotes from various A+ companies listed on Angies List I decided to go with Gibbons Extreme Insulation based on the details, options, knowledge, and price that he offered me that no other company bothered to mention. I had to replace my insulation due to raccoon activity in my attic.
Paul and son(Caleb) went above and beyond what I ever expected.  The total job took two very hot days to complete.  After removing the insulation on the first day they pointed out all the issues (electrical, structural) that were important to correct. Mr Gibbons went above and beyond what I expected by closing  holes with mesh and correcting any vent issues and locating issues that the builder made on my home and correcting them. Paul Gibbons spent alot of the two days in the hot attic doing the dirty work himself.  This was impressive to watch.  The second day Caleb(son) pulled out the thermal image camera to show me before and after of my insulation replacement.  This was very nice to see as it also found other issues I had with my home insulation that I will correct very soon.
If you are reading this and are looking for a true class act company look no further.  Get your quotes from the other guys and then call Paul.  You will not regret it.  Gibbons Extreme Insulation is not a large corporate company.  They have been in business for 30+ years and are a small family based crew that takes real pride in the work that they do.

Came promptly for estimate.  Found a trouble spot that I forgot to tell him about.  A prior estimator made a much less comprehensive evaluation/estimate.  Small crew worked hard, yet quietly and neatly .  Even escorted a bat out of the attic.  Highly recommend...

The Gibbons have a busy small crew and a little persistence was needed to get on the schedule but I was not disappointed.  I live in a wooded area and this job was a task that I had put off for years. The crew was courteous and thorough. Bits of insulation and chipmunk mess came down everywhere and the crew got it all cleaned up. The foam went on well and both areas are now clean and secure and the house and I are both breathing a sigh of relief.  My only regret is that I didn't call them sooner!

Paul was a little difficult to get in touch with at first; but once we actually spoke on the phone I never had any trouble reaching him again. His guys are detail guys, and I really felt like I got a thorough job. Their cleanup was also outstanding. They even swept my driveway, including some leaves and debris that clearly was not theirs. After they left, I couldn't even tell they had been there. I am very happy with the service I have recieved so far. They will be coming back to insulate our attic in a few weeks.

It went very well over all. They showed up that morning and covered the floors with plastic and proceeded to work. They cleaned up any messes that were made. They returned the next day to finish up the job. We were very happy with the job.I would recommend them for any insulation job that needs to be done.

Wow - our experience with this company was outstanding. So nice, professional, on time, spoke in layman's terms - just a really good guy. I don't know how much the work cost because we were renting the home at the time so I'm not sure exactly how much the homeowner paid for his service. I do know his decision was based on price so the quote must have been really reasonable.  Mr. Gibbons always let us know what to expect. He and his team worked very hard and quickly, were thorough, cleaned up after themselves and did an outstanding job. This guy knows his stuff and he was an absolute pleasure to work with.
