I purchased a new network adapter for my Toshiba laptop instead of having to wait for a repair shop to order one, so that I would not be without my computer for a longer time.  The adapter was installed within one day and the computer works better than ever.

Excellent. Have used this shop several times, and have always been satisfied with his work. He is very reasonable on his pricing, especially when compared to many of the chain shops doing computer work. Straight forward with what it will take to address the problem and will tell you if is worth the cost before you sink more money into a potential losing cause. Have no issues recommending Fixit Computer. Have even used him to refer me to another shop to do work on an Iphone.

Jim Silvers listened to my concerns; diagnosed the problems; told me what I could do to solve the most problematic; and gave me prices he would charge, should I decide to have him fix the others. He is knowledgeable, honest, helpful, and a gentleman. Tremendous experience!

A quote was given. The part was ordered and as soon as the part came it the fan was replaced.

It took a little time to determine that replacing the old computer's motherboard was not viable. After that, the remaining actions proceeded rapidly and with good result. The owner/repair tech was accessible for discussion and explanation during the process. I will use this service again.

I stopped in to Fixit Computer Services this morning as a last effort to repair my laptop. My laptop battery would not charge even though it would run off of the ac adapter. I had already spent 1.5 hrs. on the phone with dell and I was going to have to send in my laptop for most likely a motherboard flix. I was ready to purchase a new laptop when I decided to take it to Fixit Computer first. He tested my ac adapter but noticed the pin was broken so he tried his own compatible adapter and it charged my laptop. The only issue was the broken pin. Jim was extremely helpful and informative. I will definitely call him first in the future for any computer issues I have. He did not even charge me for the 15 min. evaluation!!! He saved me the cost of a new computer for a $20 fix!!!

Mr. Jim, from Fix It Computer SVC, was honest in our dealings. He offered good advice and insights when asked. He did the things we asked him to do.

Fixit gave me immediate attention when I walked in and fixed it while I waited. Overall it only took 20 minutes.

A free fifteen minute analysis is provided at the front of the shop. In my case the original analysis was that I needed a new motherboard and the cost would be about $350 and the repair would take about five days. I thought about this for a couple of days and checked at another repair shop who gave me a much higher estimate, before deciding to have the work done. A few days after taking my PC to the shop I received a call that my computer was ready for pick up and the cost would be $78.49. Upon further analysis the technican found that my power supply was bad and needed to be replaced. I appreciated the fact that they had checked again before ordering and installing a new motherboard. I feel that they are honest business prople and provide a good service at a reasonable price. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone needing a PC repaired.

I've only used them once. They did a fine job. I was happy with them. I spent around $75 to $80. They fixed the way it was supposed to be fixed in a shorter amount of time than they said it would take. I would use them again in the future if need be.

Got back with me even quicker than I thought. Was able to do the work that they had told me upfront didn't know if it could be done. Very professional and will use again.

They brought the computer home and it still had a problem so they took it back and repaired it at an additional cost. We took it home and still found a smaller problem which we repaired ourselves. UPDATE: The problem was taken care of and the customer was very happy with professional service of problem resolved.

The service went well. Everything was done very speedy and fixed within 45 minutes. The individuals working with the computer were professional and friendly. Everything was explained well.

The computer was taken into the Fixit Computer shop. The gentleman took the information as to what the problem was and wrote up the service agreement. I was told it would take a couple of days. I called two days later and was informed that my unit was ready.

We were very pleased. Came within 30 minutes, and was very courteous and knowledgeable. After spending hours on the phone with non-English speaking folks, I was highly frustrated and wanted it done NOW! They were very accommodating.

THEY ENDED UP REPLACING THE POWER SUPPLY, RE-ROUTED HOW IT CONNECTED INSIDE THE COMPUTER, BECAUSE OF SOME DAMAGES. THEY WERE VERY PATIENT AND MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS WORKING. THEY PATIENTLY SORTED OUT ISSUES FROM THE MOUSE, THE MODEM, ETC. THEY USED SOME USED PARTS, AND ENDED UP GIVING ME ANOTHER MOUSE BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T WORK WITH THE UPGRADES THEY DID. THEY PUT IN A LOT MORE TIME THAN THEY EXPECTED TO, BUT THEY DIDN'T COMPLAIN, AND DIDN'T CHARGE ME MORE.
