Ben is always on time and shows up when he says he's going to for our jobs.  He's such a likable business man and will get you done within a budget that works for you.  Highly recommend Ben for any major job associated with excavating, drain lines, hardscapes & pavers, stone & gravel, or septic replacement.

They did a great job.  They were in and out in just one day.

I called Ben to investigate a possible leak in an exterior water faucet.  He discovered the issue with the exterior water faucet and replaced the line.  He also noticed the house was "losing" water somewhere.  He detected a leak in the line from the street to the house.  When the home was built, the waterline was laid on a rocky new construction bed.  Over time, the rocky bed produced a hole in the line.  Ben changed the line for less than was quoted by other contractors.

Ben inspected the area and found a collapsed section of my drain line.  As he was finishing up the repair he noticed several other areas in my yard that showed signs of leaking.  He suspected my issue was from tree roots that had penetrated line.

He laid out my options to correct the issue.  I choose to replace the line with PVC to prevent the issue from ever occurring again.  He didn't have to, but he didn't charge me for the three hours he spent repairing the initial issue.

Ben was prompted, knowledgeable, and worked hard to get the job done in one visit.

Initial work was satisfactory, with no outstanding issues. However the foundation has began leaking again. Initial calls to Exceptional Excavating were made in Jan. 2012 & responded to, however the company has yet to return to my property to assess the problem (see attached photo). Ben Floyd (owner) reported he has a waterproofing "expert" he's consulting with regarding this problem, but now no longer returns my phone calls or test messages. I've also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, # 8919426.
