"We always strive to do our work professionally and we never intentionally damage property. We were very professional on your job and you have a beautiful driveway, sidewalk and garage floor because of our professionalism. We do not agree that the photo you provided shows that the pin is in the area of the line. You stood right on top of where you said the pipe was and the employees drove the pins about 2 feet away from where you were standing. We wanted to dig up the line to see where it was and you refused to let us because you had new seed and straw down. We still believe that we were shown the wrong location. Never the less, every once in a while, on a $10,000 there can be a minor unexpected expense but in all the time we have done this we have never had a customer complain about such a small expense. We did not charge you any extra or complain when we got to your house and the block was laid incorrectly in your garage and we had to spend extra time and remove it by hand. We also gave you a discount of over $500.00. As a professional company, we have a contract that our customers sign and in that contract not only does it state that the customer is responsible for underground systems but it also states that the customer is responsible for charges for repair due to installation. You signed the contract agreeing to these terms, why would you sign a contract that you don't intend to honor? With that being said, if we knew that the damage was caused by our company we would pay for the repairs. Recently we had a job where the customer 's fence was in concrete so deep that we couldn't get the fence post out of the ground to remove the fence so we had to break the post. We went and got the customer a new post and installed it at our expense. It's strange that since you didn't get reimbursed for your sump line that you have changed ALL of your grades to discredit our company. How does this in any way affect the job that was done at your house? Perhaps this is something that Angie's List needs to address as this is not right."
