BUDGET TRUCK RENTAL

The price was reasonable and better than others. We were concerned about some things. One thing was that when they released the truck to my son, the right front tire was completely bald. It had little bit of tread. We had to call the roadside assistance, which did not come to our house. We had to be on the road. Two of my kids were driving the truck. After more and more talking we got some help. They didn’t have lights in the truck. They told us that the tire was fine. Overall price was okay. The truck looked clean. The basement of the truck was dirty and smoke filled. It was very unprofessional. It was really scary. We were told that the truck had been re-serviced and re-conditioned. That was not the case. The pricing was good. They were definitely the best priced that we got in the area. It was a very unacceptable situation. It was dangerous. The truck was ready when they said it would be. But they totally misrepresented that by saying it was maintained. I wouldn’t use them in the future.

Budget Truck Rental was a nightmare! I reserved their biggest truck for moving my family to a new home. We had 2 moving crews scheduled to show up at our old and new homes. When moving day came, I drove to Budget and learned they did not have any trucks and they wouldn't have the truck I needed for at least 2 more days. Their reservations are meaningless! They do not guarantee a truck but will gladly charge your credit card if you don't show up to pick up your reserved truck. I wrote a letter to the Attorney General's office. Their policy is a scam. I will never ever rent another truck from them, or an auto, for that matter. Thanks to Penske Truck, I was able to move that day, but I wouldn't wish the Budget Truck hassle on my worse enemy.

I had reserved a truck to use for moving furniture approximately 2 weeks in advance of the day I needed it. When I arrived to pick it up, they had no truck for me. It was a very bad situation, since I had to move that day. Luckily, I was able to find a truck available from one of their competitors.
