CONSUMERS SHOULD BE WARY OF THIS COMPANY AND CONSIDER BETTER ESTABLISHED, MORE REPUTABLE EXPERT SPECIALISTS IN THE FIELD OF TERMITE & PEST CONTROL.
Description of Work: WE HAVE HAD A WARRANTY FOR ANNUAL TERMITE INSPECTIONS WITH APC SERVICES (AKA ACHEM TERMITE AND PEST CONTROL, ALBERS PEST CONTROL,...). WHEN WE PURCHASED OUR HOME IN 1997 WE TRANSFERRED AN EXISTING WARRANTY TO OUR NAME. IN FEBRUARY OF 2002, THE COMPANY INSISTED THAT THEY HAD NO RECORD OF TRANSFER OF WARRANTY AND INSISTED THAT WE PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF PAYMENT TO CORRECT THEIR RECORDS. IN JULY, WHEN AN INSPECTOR ARRIVED UNSCHEDULED AT OUR HOME, WE REQUESTED THAT THE COMPANY CALL US TO CONFIRM THE STATUS OF OUR CONTRACT. THE COMPANY CONTACTED US AND WE RETURNED THE CALL TO LEARN THAT THEY DID HAVE THE CORRECT RECORD OF WARRANTY TRANSFER, BUT CLAIMED TO NOT HAVE OUR PHONE NUMBER, AND WOULD NOT HONOR THE EXISTING CONTRACT SINCE PAYMENT FOR 2002 HAD BEEN DELAYED. DUE TO POOR RECORD KEEPING, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, & UNCLEAR ACCOUNTABILITY WITHIN THIS COMPANY, WE HAVE HAPPILY CANCELLED OUR SERVICE CONTRACT.
