 + -1 moreHaving several properties, I am familiar with the fact that there are delays related to title work, appraisal, and underwriting issues. I was very happy with my experiences, as they always let me know where we were in the process.
Description of Work: They handled the financing for a primary mortgage. They kept me informed of the status of the loan. We were able to close when we wanted, and we will continue to utilize their services now that I have worked with them. The loan officers that I dealt with were Anthony Candlish and Glen Oates.

 + -1 moreAT FIRST, THIS COMPANY SEEMED VERY RELIABLE AND ON TOP OF THINGS. AS WE WERE SCHEDULED TO CLOSE (EVEN THOUGH MY HUSBAND HAD CHECKED THE BUSINESS DAY BEFORE TO MAKE SURE ALL WAS OKAY FOR OUR CLOSING APPOINTMENT) WE WERE NOTIFIED BY OUR REAL ESTATE AGENT THAT THE TITLE COMPANY HAD NOT YET RECEIVED THE PAPERWORK FROM AMERITRUST FOR CLOSING. THERE WAS A PROBLEM THAT AMERITRUST FAILED TO MENTION TO ANY OF THE PARTIES INVOLVED. WHEN WE DISCUSSED THE DISSATISFACTION OF THE SERVICE AT AMERITRUST, HIS RESPONSE WAS TO SUGGEST WE TAKE OUR FILE ELSEWHERE SINCE THEY HAD PLENTY OF BUSINESS WITHOUT OURS. NOT CLOSING WHEN SCHEDULED PUT OUR ERNEST MONEY IN JEOPARDY AND VOIDED OUR PURCHASE AGREEMENT.
