Jack's Tire Pros

We go to them for everything. They are friendly, family oriented, good Christian group that doesn't screw you out of money.

I like this shop a lot. Employee-owned, high degree of professionalism and honesty. Oil change by appointment, on time, easy wait. When it came to brakes, they called me back into the shop to show pads and rotors still were good and that a brake job was not yet necessary. They said I likely could drive to next oil change or tire rotation without any problems. That's the kind of integrity you hope for in any service provider. Yes, it's in Greenville, but they're worth it in my book.

I took out Explorer in to have tired balanced and rotated. At this time, I was told that the rear brakes appear to be wearing excessively and could be caused by a bad caliper. I took the Explorer to the dealership because its still under an extended warranty. Long story short, the dealer said it was would not be a warranty item and that I needed rear brakes immediately. They also said the serpentine belt was "shiny" which was causing a squealing noise. I told the dealer I did not want them to perform the work. I made an appointment at Jack's Tire Pros. They called me before 9:00 am to tell me that depending on driving habits I had 5,000 to maybe 10,000 miles left before I really needed rear brakes so if I didn't want to spend the money right now this work could wait. They also said that the serpentine belt had a couple of shiny spots but nothing bad. I gave Jack's the go ahead to perform both the brake and serpentine replacement. The decision was made to proceed due to not wanting to make another appointment or risking rotor damage if we waited too long. The cost was less than expected and MUCH less than the dealer. The worked was performed on time and I was able to pick up the vehicle the same day. As always, Jack's treated us great. I feel they are an honest business that looks out for their customers and stands behind their work.

Everything went well except the price was a good bit more than quoted.

We use them every few months. They are really a good company. They are honest and reliable. That is why we always go back to them. They did great. Their price is always fair. They are usually better than any other people that we check out. Their responsiveness is always good.

The check engine light came on we took the car in to have the code read.  The code said we needed a new catalytic converter.  Jack's told us they would not change the expensive converter (over $300) based on only one code being thrown.  They said that they often see check engine catalytic converter codes thrown when there is a dramatic change in the weather as there had been just a few days before.They reset the code and said come back if it comes on again.   Charge, not one thin dime.
Here is it the last day of December and the check engine light has not come on again. Even if it does come on again in the near future we got through the Christmas season without having to pay for an expensive repair.  Being retired we are on a relatively fixed income and a new catalytic converter in December would have put a damper on our Christmas spending.
This type of service is not an aberration either.  This is the type of service we have always gotten from Jack's over the last 4 years that we have been using them.  If we need a repair, they fix it at a more than fair price, especially if you compare their prices to dealership prices.  If we needy X to repair the problem, they do X, they do not try to sell us Y and Z also.  That's why I keep going back to Jack's.

I've had good experiences using Jack's. Friendly and professional. I'd actually use them more if they had Saturday hours. Next time I need tires, I plan to check with them first.

They took it in as soon as we got there. We told them we were in no hurry. They called us in about an hour with their report and what it would cost. We approved everything and they called us about 2 hours later to say it was ready. We were surprised it was so quick. After we picked it up, the steering wasn't exactly perfect, so we called the next day and they had us bring it back right away. They pulled it back in and made another adjustment and had us drive it again. Closer, but still not perfect, so they pulled it back in again, adjusted again and brought it out again. It was perfect. We appreciated their attention to our vehicle and perfectionism.

They did a great job!  Always have treated me well, they even welded a noisy exhaust bracket with out charging me, i was very impressed!

Jack's Auto Care and Tire are very good. I think they do what they say they are going to do; they are reliable.
